58The worse experience ever! We arrived at the apartment at 8 pm and the bed does not have sheets, toilet paper, towel, and soap. We called them and the solution was “ you can still using the bed even without the sheets, our team will go tomorrow at 10 am to bring the towels and bed sheets, you need to buy toilet paper”. We ask for refund and they did not want to give us.

Loved the quality of the apartment. Attention to detail was on point. Easy to book and gain access to the premises. Money for value was excellent. Will definitely book again.

Started off well, smooth onboarding process, lots of communication. Problems started happening a year in, communications were difficult, no direct number to manager was allowed to sort out issues, cleaning issues highlighted by reviewers leading to poor reviews, no attempts to rectify problems after numerous attempts. No communications, no effort. Large management company and I definitely didn't feel valued, just a cog or number in their system. Had low occupancy rates, didn't adjust prices based on season. Had to instruct them to review their pricing and lower it. Lost my keys in the final handover and didn't notify me, I had to find out for myself. Then had to wait for keys to be cut in order to start rebuilding again.
Great location, apartment was very clean and has great facilities eg: dishwasher, oven, washer and dryer, iron etc. I would 100% stay again! Only thing is that is advertised that 4 people can sleep there. Two in the bed and two on the pullout couch, although we did all fit it’s a little cramped and is definitely more suited for 2 people:)
The location of the Katoomba airbnb was perfect. Close to station, restaurants and cafes. It was quiet. Very clean and modern. Would recommend.
Awfull experience, I had to call 15 times (maybe more) to ask for the wifi which it isn't working, they seem to don't care, always the same answer. It's been 20 days from the first call. Unbelievable.
Terrible experience. We rent a property for two months and the wifi never worked, so they sent us a device with a few gb and now that we run out of them and asked for the refund of what we shouldn't been paying in the first place, they don't give us answers. I already call like 5 times this month and nothing. Unbelievable.

I’m actually laughing reading the MadeComfy owner responses to the negative reviews here. Seems to be a trend- bad communication and terrible cleaning practices. Maybe spend more time caring about owners properties and tenants experiences than replying to reviews? Can’t wait to see what mine will say!
My mother booked a house in Yarraville Vic while they were visiting from overseas. Two days before, MadeComfy emailed the check in instructions from what looked like a standard “copy paste” template of theirs, but forgot to type in any personal details for the house such as lock box code etc. She emailed them back directly, but did not receive a response. Luckily I live in Australia and was able to call customer support when they arrived and had still not heard back. After being on hold for a while, the company emailed me the check in instructions so my family was able to check in (mind you, my identity was never confirmed, my name wasn’t on the booking, and I provided a completely different email address).
Upon entry, the house was not clean. Yes towels and dishes were put away and you could tell the floors had quickly been vacuumed, but surfaces were very dusty, there were stains on the carpet and furniture, and we even found a pair of used underwear behind the bedside table in the master bedroom. Clearly, MadeComfy, who was left in charge to clean and manage the property, did a very rushed job actually cleaning and inspecting the property between renters.
The worst part of all, is that months after checkout, MadeComfy has now asked for payment of $2742 to “replace” the stained carpet, which was damaged before our arrival. They claim that they have tried steam cleaning and it has not been successful. First, the damage was not done by us, and we will not pay. Secondly, unless they are planning to recapped the entire floor, that’s a ridiculous amount. Where are the actual receipts or proof you have tried cleaning the very dirty house we were given in the first place?
Great location, right near tram. Great restaurants within walking distance. Easy commute on tram to shopping and restaurants on Lygon Street and in the city.
Apartment was clean, spacious, had everything we needed including washing machine, dryer, dishwasher etc.
Communication and instructions were excellent.
Highly recommend.
Stayed in a Melbourne CBD apartment. Although confirmation of booking was received, when we arrived on property we had no way to access apartment as we had not been sent check-in instructions. After calling, we found out we had to walk to a convenience store 10 minutes away to pick up the keys.
Although the apartment photos looked very nice, the room was a big disappointment. Bin in toilet had not been emptied from previous guest, toilet was not clean, hair on sink and a large window into the hallway where other apartment entries were that was covered but a curtain. THEN, that night when we arrived back to the apartment building we discovered the access card to the building had expired and we could not return to the room. We asked staff to help us retrieve our belongings and moved to another hotel.
No refund or compensation for the $1100 for 4 nights from MadeComfy. It really dampened the beginning of our trip and we will not be booking through this company again. There are also poor reviews on Stayz for other properties managed by this company.
SCAMMERS DO NOT BOOK THROUGH. Tried to charge us 1 month after our visit for broken furniture that was not even used or damaged during the stay. STAY AWAY from any accommodations booked through this company. Absolutely disgusting. Holiday was beautiful, ruined by this company. BE WARNED
Most hopeless company ever! Renniel And Roop have been disgusting and ruined our Christmas holidays. They left the house we booked available online and a whole month after I booked the holiday I found out it had been double booked. Instead of taking responsibility and letting the family that had just booked that they had double booked this house they cancelled our holiday. After asking this be escalated they stopped replying to emailed and stonewalled me when I called. They told me they have no management team. I would never advertise your house with them.
The best apartments and accomodation in Sydney. Book through made comfy if you want to have a very enjoyable stay:)
We had rented the property on Safety Beach in Mornington peninsula and the stay went well. Then we received a bogus claim that we damaged property after a month!
What BS! This company is scamming people with false claims.
This is not going to go well,
I’ll take this to court if needed!
