I recently inherited a bit of money. Not wanting to get raked over the coals with taxes, I was recommended by a friend to go speak with Lisa.
I also ended up speaking with Dennis who presented me with some options as well as the pros and cons of each investment. The staff was really helpful - would recommend.

Lisa has been my accountant for 8 years and i can not fault her. Dennis has been the financial planner for myself and my mother for many years as well. During the Covid crisis they have been invaluable and i truly appreciate all their efforts to help me as a self employed person. My SMSF has helped me in many ways as well during this time. GANGSTER ALERT. These people will help you only if the incriminated entity is you or your business. If it's another accountant that is responsible, they will protect the allegedly unlawful accountants and will tell you that you are wrong. This is not a very lawful practice and that sounds more like some gangster practice to us.

Recommended to come here by a family friend for SMSF advice. I really didn't have any idea where to start, so Jai has been particularly helpful with all of my questions (which have been many!) Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Maddern to my other family members and friends.

I've been a client with Maddern with 8 years. I cannot recommend their service highly enough. Their SMSF team helped me to purchase a property and they referred to me to a conveyancer and mortgage broker to finance it, it was just made so easy for me. They even picked up the cheque and delivered it for settlement.

When we engaged this company, they presented themselves as a leading firm and made indications about what they could (and would) do for us. Unfortunately they failed to deliver, to even a reasonable standard, on quite a number of occasions. Very, very disappointing. Their fees are quite substantial and l certainly don't feel like we got value for money. It definitely has been an experience!
