Products itself are decent but does that matter when the people serving you are drier than a box of crackers? Benjamin who served me could not look and sound more like HE was paying ME to be there, if he wanted to. Is it so hard to greet the ONLY customer in store with a “Hello how can I help? ” Honestly not sure who pissed in your coffee but I hope it gets better for you mate. Jesus.

Good store, great collection. Bigger than the DFO one in terms of collection and store size I reckon.

My wife bought jacket $150 but after just one gentle wash and let it dry natural after few hours inside foam got curdle and all foam got lump.when we went to ask them they said its your fault you should put in dryer then they reccomend wash again and put in dryer it will fix if not come back, we did the same but result was same it did not get fixed, after we went back again to ask and this time they said now you should use some other detergent or liquid from their shop get it fixed yourself and why they did not say us to first time we went there. In the end they said sorry we can't help you take this product and wash and dry again that does not make any sense lump is so tight and strong its never going to fix.
We left jacket on desk in front of them and said to them there is no use of this jacket keep it and we went out from shop and felt just waste our money. Even they did not offer us anything, I will never go back there.
I love Macpac, I have many gear of it. But the way we have been treated in that shop, two times we went there waste of time and money.

Super friendly and competent staff. Nice and ever lasting quality. We are happy customers.

Tried on a garment.
Identified several loose threads on the front on one side (only), so obviously slipped through the QC.
Rude staff member ‘ Blaze’ not remotely interested in trying to resolve other than ‘let’s cut the threads off’ - not likely on a brand new $300 fleece! Lift your game. Won’t visit that store EVER AGAIN.
No offer to order a new garment…

Chick with the short curly hair needs way better training in basic customer service… absolutely floored how many times I got purposely ignored by her, which is really strange because this is her job. The other two guys were competent and helpful, but that chick…

Michael from the CBD store helped us with replacement poles for our much loved 17 year old Macpac Apollo tent. We needed them at short notice and with no shelf stock left, he suggested taking the poles from display stock and even tested them on our old tent for fit before our purchase. We were grateful for his initiative and have come away confident that we are ready for our next adventure. Excellent product. Outstanding service. We will be back.

Big fan of Macpac, I'm an advert hiker and buy so much of my clothing from here with little to no requirement of help as I know what I want - when I was shopping for a gift for my dad recently I asked for help, the staff at the time were really unhelpful and told me to look online. I said I had and that the stock showed in-store with a promotion, they refused to look it up and told me that it was online only. I did as they said and it definitely showed it was in-store, I called the store and was assured by the attendant it was in-store with that promotion and put my item aside. When I picked it up the next day I shared my experience with the attendant and he was genuinely apologetic.

Store is good but online shop is terrible - items are in stock but then can't be checked as they are unavailable. Macpac is aware of the problem but hasn't fixed it and Customer Service or store staff can't help. Very poor!

The staff were friend and helpful. This is not a cheap store. As our turned out they didn't have what I was looking for. I left with an impression of not much variety or stock, but of what they did have being good quality.

Friendly staff for the most part, but heck, the prices of their clothing (like all other "specialty" outdoor shops) is exorbitantly high. Since when did the addition of Goretex justify a 300% price hike on the article of clothing? $600 to simply keep warm and dry seems a little excessive, no?

Nice staff and huge store. Lots of options and a proper room to try it. If they have what you want just in another store there is a possibility to transfer the product to this store and you can get it easily. Highly recommend it.

There are plenty of excellent products in this store. The gear is great for camping and just keeping warm.

Great customer service team, they were eager to help and they were genuinely great people. Also loved the 40% sale grabbed heaps of new gear.

Very Great experience with Macpac in Melbourne. The staffs knowledge about the products are good and the price level good as well. Can definitely recommend this shop/store if you need equipment for your backpack.
