The most unhelpful staff I've ever met. I had questions about socks and after a curt reply she walked off to serve another customer looking at jackets instead of helping me find another pair as stock was not organised properly to begin with. So I only bought 1 pair instead of 2. Was tempted to walk out and not buy any. I had to find another staff member to make the purchase even.

Great service and excellent gear (I've got a down jacket that was great for camping).
Note they only sell Macpac branded gear. The adventure stores sell a more complete range.

Compared to Kathmandu, the range is less.
As a standalone store without any comparison, it's a decent store.

Michael was extremely knowledgeable and willing to help straight away. Was after a rain cover for a bag, and he opened it up and demonstrated the product without any hesitation. Will shop here again.

Not ashamed to say i have THREE macpac jackets (my partner has FIVE.different ones for the different types of activities we do. The staff at chadstone are always on point with their product. A jacket i had purchased at another outlet had problem with the zip. I popped in to get advice on if it could be fixed. The manager was DELIGHTFUL and without any hesitation exchanged it in the spot. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Then there's the product, we travel alot. It can get very cold on some flights, you can STUFF your macpac into a very small bag. Its my MUST HAVE travel item.

No more technical gear anymore. No climbing gear. The most expensive shell jacket has no pit zips. No shell jackets have pit zips.

Great range of clothing for the outdoors with a better price than most. Staff are very helpful. No problems with finding ny size and for my partners.

Went in to purchase a down jacket. It was a Chadstone VIP Day so was very busy. I was served by a young, friendly, attractive staff member called Mark who showed me that rather than spend loads of money, there was one on sale for only $100. Even though it was busy Mark helped me choose a size, and when I got to the counter I realised I forgot my wallet. He was happy to hold my gear until I came back, and even brought me ahead of the line when I got back. Real quality service above what I expect, would love to watch a game of soccer and share a beer with him sometime.

Macpac is a outdoor goods store that sells a variety of clothing and gear for extra curricular outdoor activities, the staff are friendly due to the companies values and expectations, they are required to ask if you need help, you can accept it or not. The goods can be quite expensive or cheap depending on your financial standings.
