Such a great experience at this store! I went in to have a browse for some hiking items and walked out fully kitted out and ready to go. Experienced great customer service from a really knowledgeable staff member, Jack.

Such a great atmosphere. I was greeted by a lovely gentleman Chris who taught me a lot about the camping products and also the technicalities behind them. He didn't pressure me to buy anything but rather focused on educating me and giving me a rough idea of what I'd need. Thank you very much Chris

Top equipment. I spent 3 years living in Tasmania exploring some of the states toughest trails, and not once did my Macpac gear let me down. If you’re looking for durable built for purpose outdoor gear, there isn’t anyone better.

Awesome customer service. I went into the store to try to exchange an item. Staff couldn’t have been better. They kindly listened to my concern without judgement, clearly explained the options they could provide (and totally great options - exchange or refund) and showed me some products that I might be interested in. I never felt stressed or pressured at any point and left the store thinking how wonderful the people were that looked after me. Well done team and thank you.

Went to buy a tent but went in without knowing what I needed, the staff were incredibly helpful in finding what I needed and what would suit for my holiday. All the staff were very amazing with communication and the lay out of the store was incredible. Highly recommend others to go check out Macpac, they go above and beyond for their customers! You could tell the team are very supportive of eachother and it was really nice to come into the store and feel that. Definitely will be coming back! 10/10

Well set out store with carries a comprehensive range of camping equipment etc. Staff know their stuff and are very friendly.

LOVE this store. The staff are incredibly helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble & zero judgement for those of us (like me) who do not look like the outdoor type but actually are. I'd be very, very surprised if anyone had any complaints about this store. Oh & easy parking too. Most times I visit I get a park almost straight out the front of the store

Looks like it could be a good place for assorted camping and hiking gear, the thing I didn't like though is not everything is priced on the shelf, which means you've got to carry everything you might want to the register to find out the price.

Jack was excellent and really helpful, taking time to explain and answer lots of questions about sleeping bags. Went back the next day and was served by Rick who was also very helpful. Thanks

Macpac as you probably haven't seen it before!
A ginormously airy, spacious and most interesting variety of outdoor equipment (all major brands represented, but especially upstairs the tent section showcasing the best of Macpac's marque shelters, such as the venerated Minaret, Olympus etc. A one-stop shop for just about anything except a flat tyre.

Always my first choice when it comes to updating my outdoor adventure kit. High quality equipment at a reasonable price, you can’t go wrong.

Their range of tents and packs are worth checking out if your looking for ruggedness and long lasting performance. I’ve taken mine on several adventures to Tasmania and they have performed flawlessly.

Great camping store. Good variety of brands and great fit out. Good end of season bargains and friendly staff.

A wide variety of expensive and luxurious goods for camping to make your camping experience as unaffordable as possible with most products available for cheaper online given you have any patience in waiting for shipping. That being said, these products work and you can buy them on your own volition. The store looks nice enough and the staff are moderately helpful.

Went and found my hiking boots thank you for not having my size. Got them in town $100.00 dollars off.staff were wonderful

Unfortunately gone upmarket & up priced. Shame, as I always bought my outdoor & work gear at Rays, but no more. Looks like I'll have go to the old opposition.

Store refurbished. Everything is easy to find and is well presented. Great place to browse. Staff are friendly and not pushing. Will shop again.
