I’d like to say thank you to every member of staff at Mackie Road Clinic Bentleigh I attended on the 12/01/24. They are friendly, supportive, respectful, very well organised and efficient.
I’m so grateful to Dr Angela Dougall for her professionalism and caring attitude. I did have an absolutely positive experience.
It makes you calm and return home with a smile and warm feelings.

Dr Sudi is so thorough, gives you all the info you need. He's always polite, friendly and knowledgeable.

We have been coming to Mackie road clinic for over 20 years, our 4 children and us 2! Tim foo is caring and wonderful doctor sometimes very hard to get into to see him, but lately we've being seeing Dr Sudi and he is amazing very kind and is just a wonderful doctor. Thank you from the Laytons

The reception staff and the doctors and nurses are all friendly and caring. You feel like they actually care about your health.

The service here has deteriorated so much over the last few years. Dr Foo does not communicate with his staff who are the main point of contact with patients. When advised by receptionist to call in when the doctor falls behind (over an hour), he chooses to override the patient scheduled without consulting his staff. I feel sorry that the staff have to work under these conditions and that patients expect to have to wait over an hour cause Dr Foo decides who he wants to consult. Completely unacceptable.

There are excellent doctors at his clinic and an amazing clinician taking blood samples. The appointments' scheduling could be a bit better - sometimes you have to wait for your turn longer than you would want, but overall the clinic is excellent.

The nurse who takes blood tests is lovely however I’ve had bad experiences with the doctors there. It’s taken me 4-5 years to get a diagnosis and I was constantly left feeling as if I was being dramatic and their only solution was to put me on the pill. It wasn’t until I started seeing a naturopath and had to go back to this clinic for blood tests and ultrasound referrals I started getting any answers however I was told my results in a very careless and condescending tone by Dr Talvika Kooblal. I am at a healthy weight range and she told me I had to loose 10 kilos to get rid of one of my conditions I had, even though another one I have makes it extremely difficult to lose weight, which she is aware of. I then got charged for this Telehealth appointment where that was the only advice she gave me.

Every time I leave this clinic I am feeling upset and overwhelmed, definitely only suggest coming here for injections and blood tests.

My previous doctor has left Melbourne so now trying to find a new one. Based on separate reviews thought here could work. Booked an appointment with several weeks notice and at a days notice was told the appointment would be Telehealth only as that doctor could no longer be bothered doing face to face. My specific issue warrants in person so we rescheduled a different doctor with another week of notice. Around three hours before the appointment, the doctor 'has an issue and can no longer see anyone.though we could do Telehealth? ! '.

Draw your own conclusions as to what game this surgery might be running, though I suppose if you're curious to see what the fiddle is I could recommend here?

5 stars for Dr Tatiana and Dr Angela as they are lovely and the lady who takes the blood samples. The staff seem pretty nice to me as well. There's only a day where the receptionist seemed annoyed on the phone however every other time I've called they were nice and accommodating.

4 stars just because it does get superbusy. So appointments are quite tricky to book on the day as the doctor you do want to see can be booked for 1-2 days. And if you want to visit the pathology when it's busy the wait time is around 15 Min to a 45min wait!

Very disappointed. We are visiting Melbourne from Perth on our way to New Zealand and my 3yr old daughter came down with tonsilitis. Clinic could not even squeeze her in to be seen.
And earlier this year my Dad who was visiting Melbourne from New Zealand had problems with his diabetes and he couldn't be squeezed in either. So much for a "family practice"

I called up @5: 30 in the evening to see if I could see the nurse to have an operation dressing reapplied. They said come down and they would fit me in. I arrived and walked straight in to get my dressing fixed up. I was out of the clinic by 5: 50! The nurse even got a doctor to check the site to make sure it was all fine. Thank you so much for being so accommodating and for going the extra mile to fit me in so late in the day. What a great service you provide!

We are so appreciative of the dedicated care my Mother received from Doctor Foo and nurses Yvonne and Jacinta, after falling and cutting her arm very badly recently. After many visits over a month, her arm is now completely healed.
Special thanks to Yvonne for her care on that very first day, and Dr Foo who was faced with an enormous challenge to stitch such delicate skin. Thank you so much.
The Mackie Rd Clinic which we have attended for many years, is always welcoming with caring staff in reception. I believe it is important for many of us to be put at ease on arrival. Not always found everywhere but here at Mackie Rd Clinic always has been so.
