23 Went into MAAP to buy some new kit and came out with new kit and a smile.
Ciara and the team were extremely knowledgeable and being served free coffee is an absolute win.
The product is high quality and also aesthetic, would highly recommend!
One of my friends got me onto MAAP after a decade of riding in mostly Rapha/Pedla/NeoPro kit. I bought some stuff second hand and loved it so much I started buying new pieces as well. I did have one of the 1st generation kits and absolutely hated the chamois so it was great to see how much work MAAP has put into their products. My favourite pieces are the EVO bibs and the Pro Fit jersey.
I was excited to be able to finally visit the store in person after buying most of my kit online because I'm based in Tassie. It was an awesome set up and the staff were absolutely lovely. I got given a flat white and then talked through the different lines. I bought 3 pairs of socks with a 15% discount which look amazing and left with a heap of knowledge that will help me to make good choices next time I buy kit online. Thanks heaps guys!
I have purchased a lot of items from this merchant few months ago and have refunded some. Out of the total 2 refunds of $300 and $694.50 only the $300 came through. Just like everyone other customers in this review who talked about customer service and refund process, I had to chase, I mean CHASE the refund just to get a response that it is not them but is the bank that has problems. So I have visited, emailed and phoned my bank multiples times and even opened a case for them to track the refund incase the money has been lost somewhere in the middle. I still havent received the money. I understand that there is a possibility where the merchant has sent in the refund but I do not understand how a customer has to chase and use up their own time and energy to claim the rightful service a merchant is legally required to provide.
Probably the best bike shop in Melbourne. Great quality amazing customer service and great dispatch/return process. Super quick on delivery. Can’t go wrong with this brand.

If you buy online, don't head into store to swap for a different size. They cannot help you.
They dont have the ability to add stock into the system.
Don't attempt to exchange for another item either. Their system can't process this.
Visited there on weekend, the lady that served me was extremely helpful and excellent product knowledge.
Kiera and Oscar were amazing - friendly without hovering, so knowledgeable about their products and gave fantastic advice. Don't usually leave reviews, but I can't recommend this store more highly.
Don't usually leave reviews however I had to leave one after the online service I recieved for a faulty product that came.
After recieving a flawed item and raising this via email, Tom responded to me the next day even given the holiday season and sorted me out ASAP, shipping me a new item express!
I never leave reviews but I've been intending to leave this review for a while because my experience was so wonderful. I dropped into MAAP a couple of weeks ago and had the best experience! It's an absolutely beautiful store and the staff are delightful. I only went in to check out the space and the staff were kind enough to have a chat to me about the brand and even offered me a complimentary coffee which was amazing! Hands down best retail experience I've ever had.
Definitely wont be ordering from MAAP again as they very disappointingly they wont refund sale items. This is problematic as MAAP isn't very affordable outside of sale times and if you can't return items you can't find your right size.
Went into the store in need of a few things, and was greeted by the lovely staff. Ciara helped with all of my sizing and was well versed in the details of each item. The whole experience was washed down with a delicious coffee.

Completed an online order 2 weeks ago.
Customs services was able to change a jersey size immediately before the order was dispatch. 8 days later I followed up to ask why I hadn’t received my shipping details. I was told they were having delays and they should be posted in 4 days. That day has now been and past, it has been 15 days since doing my online order and no word from MAAP as to when I’ll receive the items I paid for. I understand that delays happen, but it should not be up to the customer to follow up as to why. This should come from customer services. Very dissatisfied that no resolution has been met. Would not recommend purchasing any products online.
Very minimalist chic new shop. So minimalist that no products have price tags on them and no discernible order to the product layout.

Really positive experience with Patrick, came here with my wife who needed help with her first cycling kit.
Patrick was very accommodating and patient, he answered all our questions thoroughly and made very good recommendations, we ended up spending more than two hours in the store but were happy with the kit we purchased.
Wife took the kit out for a spin the following day and felt Patrick's recommendation was spot on.
Patrick is an asset to the MAAP team, if there was a Patrick at every cycling shop, I would probably spend too much money.

The most comfortable cycling apparel, with a super cool store to match. Low on stock in preferred color at the time of visiting for one item, staff were super helpful in sizing and I purchased the item online which arrived really quickly!

Ordered online, Maap notified me that a pair of socks are out of stock a week after i ordered.
Thats ok theses things happen i get it…
Called the North Melbourne store while waiting for my order and in their response, they confirmed everything was available from their end, items will be sent shortly.
Three weeks later i had to chase the refund for my socks.
This review would all be avoided if they had a customer service team that replied to emails, or Patrick at North Melbourne decided to actually do some work today and concentrate on decent customer service.
Great cycling kit, amazing designs and now good customer service. I popped it into the store today and was served by Patrick, he knows really well their products and offered not only great advise but superb customer service. Keep up the good f2f customer service maap! Another happy local customer ;-)
