Lyrebird Community Centre

The only place in the Frankston council delivering this most helpful service of occasional care. Having library in the same space provides a wonderful opportunity for creating a regular visiting schedule important to developing love for reading and books in our children. The staff is always helpful and kind, understanding leaving children in care of a “stranger” is a big deal for parents. Thank you!

Excellent selection of books at the library and the playroom for the kids is well equipped. Free Kids activities all the time.

Havent visited before and was there for a meeting. Reception ladies very nice and pointed me in the right direction and was great to see a few rooms being used for different purposes.

Great centre. Lots of facilities to use. Great for small venue activities. Clean and tidy.

We have our 4wd club meetings here. Room is always clean and ready for use. Tables and chairs available for us to use. No complaints

So many programs for the community.
Library is in the same building. 2 minutes walk to the shopping centre.

Has everything you would want in a community centre. Shops next door. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Took a someone to the library's reading tales program where kids read books to a dog who just loves the attention, all very good!

Lyrebird Community Centre is always clean and the staff are friendly. I am currently a student there in an Introduction to Baking and Cake Decorating class and loving it. They offer a variety of classes and activities that you can attend.

Visited to get more council Food Waste Caddy liners; these are just as bad as the previous roll - they're a fraction
too small to fit the caddy and get torn every time we put a new on in, regardless of how careful we are! Next batch, Council, please make sure they are slightly bigger than the caddy, not the same size!

Took my 6 week old for immunizations and the nurses were lovely and quick. Very informative. Much easier than going to the GP. Would highly recommend

A lovely community centre:) the reception had just had an upgrade, looks gorgeous. The staff are so kind and friendly and there is a cute little cafe where the staff bring your coffee to you wherever you are in the centre which is lovely ️

Great local community centre with a library, child care, play groups and courses for the community

Excellent facilities for all ages and families. We go to playgroup, 3yr old playtime and the library. Great little coffee shop inside. Library opening hours are not very convenient but overall great library.
