Pressured to collect shoes a certain day then when I did price demanded was higher than price quoted, ticket altered surreptitiously from $31 to $39. Pay in advance and collect shoes on day of your choice if you choose to use these people.
These guys can fix anything! I have had shoes stretched wider, a belt hole added and most recently a handbag link chain repaired (when a high end bag repair store said it wasn’t possible).
Hi I had my bag mended by these people, it was well worth it and the craftsmanship was superb.
Excellent work but the price quoted and the price at pick up was 25% more. Different people there at pickup. I complained and won. But have to be carefull.
Took 2 pairs of shoes to get resoled. Picked up 1 pair and asked to pay $45 but I said I was told each pair would be $35. So it was agreed to pay $35 for first pair as stated when i dropped off the shoes. Picked up second pair of shoes a few days later and they charged me whopping $75! The difference between the two pairs of shoes that had been repaired was one pair included new heel pads so those pads cost me an additional $40! I would never go there again as tell you one price when you drop of shoes but charge a higher price when you collect them.
Cost me $90 to get my black leather ankle boots resoled which took them a week. Upon pick up, they hadn't even applied a coat of shoe polish and when I asked if he could, he said that was an additional $25.
Very friendly and helpful, and a great job done. They managed to re-sole my shoes in a matter of days, as I was only in Melbourne briefly and needed them before I left. I really appreciated this. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
The guys here are great. Been fixing shoes for a long time and are always very helpful. You'll always see the same guys, and they'll take care of your repair needs. I've been getting my leather shoes resoled here for years, and the quality has always been dependable.
