Firstly I just want to thank each and everyone involved in helping create my sons magical 2nd birthday I came to you super stressed and freaking out as I was stuffed around with another prop vendor and within a small time frame the team were able to create and style my sons birthday into this master piece of an event everyone can’t stop talking about The support I have received and the comfort from you guys will be forever recognised. I’m so glad I got into contact with you all and definitely highly recommend anyone wanting event stying or prop hiring to hit you guys up! You exceeded my expectations and I’m sooooooo HAPPY with everything!

I wish I did not have to write a negative review for this company, but after numerous attempts to get into contact with Fifi, I’ve decided it is only fair for future customers to know my experience. This company offers event planning but cannot oblige to their contractual duties and responsibilities. I was charged and paid a deposit for Luxe couture to plan, style and organise my event 2 months before my event. I trusted that they would plan all things needed to make my vision come to life within my budget.

I was constantly following up and waiting on quotes from Luxe Couture throughout the 2 months and that forced me to book things myself. On the day of the event, I was very surprised at the set-up, as it was nothing like the mock up that Luxe Couture created. I’ve attached a photo of the mock up, what they “styled exclusively” for my event and what they styled for an event 2 weeks prior to mine. The real florals cost a lot with the small centrepieces attached costing $250 each by the florist that Fifi booked.

Following the event, I expressed my disappointment in the florals for the price I paid and Fifi and her team agreed and put me in contact with the florist. The florist explained to me that they were only booked 11 days prior to my event and therefore that caused them to inflate their pricing as they had to source florals last minute and use express post to ensure that they were there on the day of my event. They also explained that Fifi did not have a meeting with them prior to the event to “plan and style” my event or show them the mock-up that she created and didn’t even discuss the centrepieces or overall set up with the florist. Instead, Fifi sent the florist my budget, a set-up she had previously done with faux florals and told them to copy that. Fifi sourced and booked this florist for the first time for my event via Instagram direct message and could not hire another florist due to her own failure to book in advance.

Fifi claimed that my set up was “custom made and styled” for my event, yet that exact back drop and floral arrangement was already done by Luxe Couture 2 weeks prior to my event for a bride. They used faux florals which cost a fraction of the price that I paid for fresh florals, and it looked the same. I did not pay Luxe Couture to do a copy of a set up they have already done, the set up and arrangements for my event was not even what was “planned” by Luxe Couture themselves.

Fifi stopped responding to my emails and instead simply refunded me 15% discount off her ‘event planning’ service fee. No apologies, no remorse, and no honesty. The florist, who also offered a 15% refund, displayed great remorse even though she was not at fault. Only engage Luxe Couture events for prop hire. If you need planning or styling for your event, go elsewhere.

She jumped on board just a week prior to my daughters 1st birthday and went above & beyond. The expectations I had was thrown out the door, she went above all measures for me & my daughter. A day I’ll never forget!
