I had an incredible cut from Andrew today! He is such a skilled stylist who excels at treating his guests with professionalism and kindness. He also provided heaps of great advice so I could style my hair at home with the best results. Highly recommend Lux Hair Preston.

Think very carefully before you pay any deposits online for a service. I lost over $200 for cancelling a booking the day before due to having covid. I rang up and told the salon I would not be in as I was highly symptomatic. Their response when I tried to re-book my appointment is that I was a 'no show', that there was no record of me cancelling the appointment, and that my payment was 'eaten up'. I gave 20 hrs instead of 24hrs notice so I would have to consider my previous payment gone, and pay again if I wanted to secure another booking. While it's normal to lose a portion of your deposit due to last minute cancellations, many businesses recognise reasons for postponing appointments are usually genuine and they prioritise customer relationships for long term benefit to the business. If this is how pre-paying clients who choose to do the right thing to avoid spreading an illness are treated, I will never return to this salon, and cannot recommend this salon to anyone due to their misconstrued, unethical way of operating. They will mishandle your appointment rescheduling and charge you incorrectly.

I felt very welcomed and relaxed. All ladies are super friendly. I had my hair service with maz who was very professional and knew exactly what to do. I strongly suggest a visit!

I had booked in for a blow-dry with Ruth this weekend and I can highly recommend. I was a little late to my appointment due to some car problems, however Ruth was super patient with me (and my long hair)! Ruth did an amazing job with styling my hair for an event and I received many compliments:) thank you Ruth for your expertise and patience, you did an amazing job and I really appreciate it!

Since lux hair has started the online service to sell products. It’s so easy to just buy online when I am not having regular salon visit.

My hair had to be redone a week later as it didn't take but when I rang Adriana that I wasn't happy with colour she was a true professional and booked me back in and corrected colour. It turned out great. Thanku Adrianna x Cherie

I leave my appointment every time in this salon loving my hair. All the staff’s are so talented. Super easy to talk to them. And salon got a gorgeous natural sunlight which helps too.

I showed her my hair picture of 2009 (my younger, natural hair) and Maria was able to match it up. By paying a lot of attention to details she produced perfect results and I will definitely return back.

It was a good customer service provided by this salon ‍️.
I hve a hair cut which was normally takes a bit long, but the lady was so good, she managed to do it quick and that too while i was happy after that.
I had to spend time while waiting but not like always.

This place is good to visit with appointments but if it’s your lucky day you can go walk in.
I would say that these people are doing good job in this busy environment and trying to help every single person visiting there.

Had such an amazing experience with Lux hair!
There was a mix up with my appointment and they offered me a complimentary service. They still treated me like a paying customer and gave me the best service! Absolutely loved my hair, and they put so much care into it (had the best head massage of my life) and the result was absolutely stunning! Staff are so lovely, will 100% be going back.
