L'Unica Receptions & Convention Centre

We were at a private function and can only say my experience with the food quality, attention to detail and services offered for our 3.30 hour visit was exceptional. I scored it 100 % on all aspects.

Absolutely a fantastic and affordable venue to have any event! L’ Unica recently hosted my wedding in May this year! I must say myself and my husband and all my guest’s that attended were all very please with the food and the service. Mel was an absolute superstar to deal with easy going and very accomodating! The best thing about L’Unica compare to all these other wedding venues is you see what you get, no hidden cost! Thanks so much for making our big day/night easy and enjoyable!

If you love a huge selection of fresh tasty food, you won't be disappointed. Don't worry any going home hungry, I'm still full from yesterday's dinner!

Never had a decent meal here. Tastes so bland and not cooked properly. One of our meals had a hair in it. Made to feel like I was a burden and treated poorly when I asked for alcohol (which I had to ask multiple times). Staff seemed confused and disorganised.
Avoiding this place from now on, doesn’t matter what event is held here

I wish I could give this place 0 stars! The food was off I don’t know how the chefs could not pick up on such a disgusting smell! You could smell it before it was served! Dessert were horrible! Everything about this place is horrible save your money don’t even bother!

Food was pathetic, tasted like I had heated up a frozen meal from Coles/Woolies. Also didn't have the ability to purchase drinks outside of the package.

I have extensive experience within the hospitality industry and my wedding was treated as though it was a royal wedding!
The effort you put into making my vision a reality was absolutely phenomenal. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Located adjacent to the Tullamarine Freeway, Lunica receptions is part of the local Italian community centre with several seperate function areas included within it. Lunica is around the back of the large 2 story building set in a huge carpark that surrounds the entire building complex and next to a sports oval. Outside is bland and not at all elegant or imposing. The interior however is quite elegant and 300-400 people comfortably fit with a large dance floor and 2 raised band podiums or bridal table/stage areas. Staff are plentiful and friendly with most, if not all speaking Italian.

I had my friend's deb there a couple of weeks ago and it was below my expectations. I paid $95 for only food and a dj, good times too though, but the food wasn't that good. (The chicken was undercooked.)

Just had my wedding there last week and between all the staff and the owner Mel, it was a fantastic night! I received so many compliments on the venue that I will definently be recommending to every one
