I really resent being referred here by my GP. My very first impression of Lung and Sleep Victoria was being treated by reception in a manner that suggested my attendance was inconvenient. Their expression and the way they spoke (curt) can only be described as aggressive. Ordinarily, I would give someone the benefit of the doubt - everyone has a bad day. The next morning when I returned their sleep equipment, the person in question conducted themselves the exact same way. Other reviews also suggest this is not an isolated incident.

Furthermore, I was told my results would only take 3 weeks to be sent to my GP. In reality, this was closer to 5 weeks after my GP’s practice had to request my results on 3 seperate occasions before they were received.

Honestly, spend your hard-earned money somewhere that appreciates your business. This place is not it.

Excellent customer service and Doctors are very highly experienced. I got my results within week and straight away got next appointment for treatment. Highly recommended

Very happy with the service I have received here. The doctor was very caring and thorough with their examination.
She really understood how I was feeling and the treatment I received have really helped me and changed my life.
I would highly recommend.

I think this is the 2nd time ever I have cared enough to leave a review. The reception staff at Footscray LASV are terrible. They don't call back, they are curt to the point of rude, they don't save your information (2 times I have come for me and both times I had to fill out the registration form here - that's fine but as it was being repeated I said "ok but I have done this before for you" and the reception staff just impatiently thrust the clipboard at me as a response. No please, no Ty, no words, just pushed the form at me again.a form I have already filled out.

This office also clearly "stack" the appointments as well, all 3 visits (1 for my wife, 2 for me) I have arrived 10 minutes early and the shortest time to see a Dr was "only" 26 minutes after the booking time and the longest was over an hour past the appointment time. Given this is an expensive clinic to visit, I had thought they wouldn't stack the appointments or at least have the grace to call me and let me know the Dr is running behind so their patients don't waste time.

Absolutely not the Drs fault. But my first referral to them from my GP went "missing". I had to follow up and email my referral into them. After finally getting through on the phone, this had to be emailed twice before they "found" it. Only once I am seeing the Dr, the poor Dr had no record of my referral. So i had to email again my referral to her the Dr (who was fabulous).

The management of this clinic is just poor and it seems to stem from rude and lazy reception. The drs I have seen were absolutely great, wise, insightful, caring.no problems at all with the health care quality provided

I have been a patient of Dr JK for a few years now. He always goes above and beyond to help me with my health issues. Taking the time to explain to me in language i understand and not all medical terms. I’ve also had 2 sleep studies there and the staff were so kind and caring. If you are ready to get your life back I totally recommend this clinic

Dr JK is very professional and detailed in diagnosis and take his time to explain possible treatment plans and offer a clear picture of my health assessment and future paths.highly recommended.

The Doctor whose in charge of looking after my Dad for his lungs, charged my Mum full fee of about $130 minus the Medicare rebate of $65. This happened after the doctor knew that the results were NOT in yet from the hospital, so instead of calling on the day to notify my parents not to come in and reschedule, he insisted on them coming in on a day that was 36 degree heat in summer, only to say that he will call up tomorrow and discuss it over the phone.
What a waste of time and money. Very unprofessional by the Doctor. I won't send him back there ever again.

Appalling customers service! Reception staff rude and not very helpful. Cancelled my appointment without informing me. No courtesy whatsoever and next appointment offered 6 weeks later. Very unprofessional and 1 unhappy pt here

Was seeing Dr Tran for 5 yrs and he was rude and did not careless about me. He did no heart tests nothing. Now seeing Dr Mary Quon and she has changed my life and done more for me in 12 weeks than l had before. She is the best would highly recommend her to anyone. Fantastic doctor. And the staff are all lovely looked after me when waiting for the ambulance to arrive. Thank you

I was referred to the clinic for respiratory issues by my GP. I found the clinic to be warm and inviting with administrative staff who were friendly and professional. The practitioners I saw were very helpful and knowledgeable and I would highly recomend the practice.

Admin staff openly discuss other patients and make inappropriate comments. Melissa wasn’t happy about calling a patient for a recall as he was rude to her last time so suggested she would send him a recall letter instead. She was unmasked and her British offsider wore her mask under her nose. Patients waited without masks. No ventilation, no air purifiers. Enter at your own risk if you are respiratory compromised. This clinic is well below standard. Although the standard of the respiratory specialist and doctor was very professional, the reception staff and the standard of the rooms and safety of patients is terrible.

No problems with the doctor or sleep technician, but the receptionists are extremely unprofessional and rude. They appear to make mistakes with every single appointment but will advise you “it’s not my problem” and pass responsibility to you or other staff.

My sister went to this doctor's office to have her chest scan reviewed. Everything went well up until the payment process. The doctor advised that the fee is $391, but the cashier requested $403. It is not much money, but it will undoubtedly clarify why there is a discrepancy. After the cashier sorted that out with the doctor, she said something like "NO NEXT TIME, " which made my sister wonder why she said such a word when it was entirely appropriate and neither was my sister's fault. The girl next to the cashier was even rude to my sister as she leaving the practise. After reading the review on here, I'm curious how this practise will progress in the future with the rude receptionist/cashier.

Reception staff and Dr Shalini Bastiampillai are very rude and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Avoid this place.

If i can give no star for the services i received I would. I am not going into details but I felt coming here is a waste of my time and money.
