Lunar Dumpling Bar

Outstanding. Dumpling Bar is a bit too modest. It’s actually a good sized cafe/restaurant with a wide range of very good dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. We will definitely be back.

The food and cocktails were utterly delicious. The place was busy but the vibe in the outdoor seating at the front was great.

Food is very expensive. 3 of us went for lunch. 1 serve of dumplings didn’t seem enough each so we ordered more food. Was a hit and miss. Some liked some of the dumplings, others didn’t like the fried ones. Weird taste. I got a broth meal with dumplings. Would never get again. Was bland and salty. Unfortunately won’t be back. Meals are $29 plus. Seemed too expensive for a lunch, more for a dinner meal for those prices.

Right in the heart of Mornington shops this dumpling bar was the perfect mix of casual and cool. We shared 3 plates of dumplings and the pan fried veggie dumplings were a highlight!

Chili oil wonton was dry, soup Noodle was ok, fried rice and flat noodle with steak was tasty, will go back again to try something else.

I did go back, indeed many times almost once a week for dumplings and posticker. They were Amazing! So i changed to more stars!

It is a bar service with some nice and good quality Asian food.

One of my absolute favourites. Always delicious, and the service is always fast and friendly. I am a dumpling fiend, and these are among the best!

Hospitality needs people to feel Hospitable

Way to 20 minutes for my mom to eat food service. They didn’t care about us or nothing won’t be back.

Great food, atmosphere and customer service every time. Staff are genuine in their interaction and the food is reasonably priced as-well with vegetarian options

Let’s start with the best part. The Pork and Prawn Siu mai $14.9. This was worth the money. But the Prawn and pork Potstickers overpriced and couldn’t taste the pork or prawn. The Nasi Goreng was not authentic and swimming in oil. We did go down the road the next day to Fortune Kitchen payed the same price as the potstickers and got 10 pan fried dumplings where you could see the prawns and taste the pork.

I had the thick egg noodles, they were so great! Also the service was really quick and the staff were friendly. Great vibes.

We went here for dinner the place looks very nice. When we ordered the service was great and had no issues whatsoever the food did not take long. When we got our food my noodles had too much vegetables and not enough noodles in it or chicken. In someone else’s wonton soup it was to bitter. The pork buns were actually pretty good. Maybe a little to pricy for what we got.

Great place to fix your cravings for nice asian food. Delicious ramens, fabulous dumplings and potstickers, variety of stir fry, noodles and rice. Yumminess on a plate. Wonderful weekend treat.

The food was great. The dumplings were fresh and delicious. The miso soup complimented them completely. The chicken rice was served with plenty of fresh veggies. I would recommend this restaurant absolutely.

Enjoyable place to eat. The pot sticker dumplings (various), Xiao long bao and the nasi goreng were all winners. Went with a small group and food came out relatively quickly. Atmosphere is buzzy, but still able to chat amongst the group and it wasn't a problem. Prices are OK. Service was fine, without being awesome. Would go back in a heart beat. 4.5

Love this restaurant for lunch or dinner, dumplings and other delights. Friendly team, best to book as it is very popular in Main Street.
