It is almost impossible to get through on the phone - every time! Today, it says that the place is less busy than usual, yet after 30 min of waiting on line I was told that I should leave a message. I like the place but the way they treat patients is not nice.

My appointment for a couple of scans went very well. The receptionist who booked me in was very efficient & friendly, & nothing was too much trouble for her. I was treated with dignity & respect right the way through.

I am so disappointed and appalled with the incompetence of Lumus at this private hospital. My procedure was booked in, on or about 3 weeks prior to the appointment and a copy of the referral was sent to reception. In anticipation of the recovery and my appointment, I had already applied for leave for 2 days. First, they made me wait 25 minutes. Once they called me in, I had the typical pre- procedure check in with a staff member. I mentioned that a different cortisone was recommended by my specialist due to previously bad reactions with other cortisones (which was already written on the referral). She seemed surprised and said she will let the radiologist know.
I was then approached by a nurse, who asked if I had a script for the steroid, as they don’t stock in. They suggested I speak to my GP or specialist and obtain a referral and then purchase it.that the appointment was not able to go ahead as such. She gave no other options but for me to purchase it. The nurse tried to blame it on me and said we didn’t know about the steroid, as they didn’t have the referral. When I told her it was sent to reception at time of booking, she said oh well, the receptionists don’t know. She proceeded to only offer me 2 options- buy the steroid yourself and if you can manage to get it ASAP, we will see if the radiologist can still see you, because it is unlikely. OR go somewhere else.
I should not have been told to pay for this steroid, when the procedure itself costs around $750, which includes the fee for the injection. I should not have to be a further $300 approx, or whatever the costs would be for 2 vials of the steroid, out of pocket because you guys are incompetent.
The nurse called my specialist and see if we can get a prescription, and I could hear her on the phone saying sorry, I wasn’t in so I wasn’t aware.
I will never ever book any procedures with this clinic and I recommend that no one else does either, unless you want to be met with the same level of incompetence. I didn’t even get an apology.
I had applied for sick leave that day, for this procedure and the day after for recovery. The clinic should be paying me back my sick leave for their incompetence as I wasted my leave for no reason.
To add to this, when I initially called to seek available appts, I was told by the receptionist of the costs and days available. When I called back, another receptionist picked up and told me something completely different. So damn disappointing

I've had a good experience each time I've been here. It is easy to book, even last minute, and the staff are friendly and professional. I was even bulk billed!

The only issue I had was in getting my results to be able to share with my specialist. Only a link to view them was provided, rather than a file. That makes the process a little more of a headache than it needs to be and it is quite difficult to contact anyone for assistance.

Thank you to all the health care professionals in Lumus who look after all of us. The administrative officers are welcoming with a
smile, the nurses & doctors are skilled & caring. They explained to me about the procedure, whether it is MRI, or CT-guided procedure.

I have been waiting for an hour for a CT scan. Feeling very uncomfortable as a few patients wear masks under their noses. I called staff and those patients were asked to wear masks appropriately. But new ones keep doing it. Staff are not monitoring this. I am still waiting and feel like walking out. I feel very uncomfortable. I am very vulnerable to Covid and would not be surprised if I caught it. The hospital should do more. My partner is waiting in the Car Park as I am unable to drive. Still waiting. Wondering whether to just walk out.

Received amazing service by all Homesglen staff throughout hospital, displaying helpfulness and friendliness.
Tara on reception at Imaging was particularly pleasant, easy and lovely to deal with.
Throughout ultrasound, explanation of the process was explained in a kind manner.
I would not hesitate to revisit this service if needed.

Great service from lovely receptionists and medical staffs. Super clean venue. Easy to park. Waiting time is short. Best place for Ultrasound.

Don't be even 1 min late to your appointment or they will cancel and tell you to come back in a month. Car park payment machine is not efficient and can take 10 mins, factor that in as well as signing into to the building which takes another few minutes.

I had MRI here recently and my mum had a Barium swallow couple days after. We both had a fantastic experience. Booking was easy, waiting time was short, the place itself is so clean, staffs are just amazing. I was helped by Billy, Jess and James, my mum’s technician was Sampras Trinh. They were all so fantastic. Super professional, helpful & patient. We have been going through long health journeys, it was nice to meet someone who were so caring & attentive, all staffs we have encountered have been just that. Thank you.
