Lachie and his team were fantastic. They did a really great job in our back yard. They had backbreaking work on a multilevel home with difficult access to the backyard. We were kept up to date regularly with Lachie visiting weekly (job took about 8 weeks) and ensuring all was going to plan. Overall really happy with the outcome and highly recommend a very professional and experience team at Luma Landscapes.

My experience with Luma Landscapes was a mix of positives and disappointments that I believe potential customers should be aware of.

Lachie, their representative, was punctual and professional during the initial consultation. However, what we thought would be a conventional consultation turned out to be more of a "requirement gathering" session, costing us $330. It's crucial to note that this fee solely covers Luma's time (about an hour) spent collecting information.

While Luma Landscapes may have the potential for excellent results, the lack of transparency regarding their consultation fee, primarily for gathering requirements, left us dissatisfied. We ultimately decided not to proceed due to this ambiguity.

In summary, if you choose Luma Landscapes, be prepared for a substantial upfront cost for the design phase to derive value from your investment. It's advisable to clarify the purpose of any fees in advance to ensure your expectations align with their services. While this review highlights a specific concern, it's worth considering their landscaping capabilities may still be commendable.

Our experience with Luma Landscapes has been brilliant. They made the revamp of our front garden, back yard and side space easy. Lachie took our ideas and vision and worked with us until he produced a design we were happy with.

During the build, he was very responsive to any concerns we had. The on-site team were a pleasure to deal with and took great pride in their work. Also have to acknowledge that access and weather added challenges to the job but it wasn’t an issue for them.

Luma Landscapes high attention to detail, superb workmanship and great customer service has produced a high quality result which we are thrilled with.

After the project was finished, Lachie continued to follow up – making sure the garden was growing and drainage and watering system was working ok.

Our every interaction with the Luma Landscapes crew has been a pleasure, from the initial quote stages right through to our finished exquisite garden.

Other companies were cagey about their design ideas during the initial quote but Lachie was so easy to deal with and gave us a rough idea of what he might do with the space, making us comfortable to go ahead with the design phase. Lachie was a dream to work with. He is professional, has great attention to detail, can problem-solve when there are hiccups and above all is down-to-earth and easy to deal with. His team are hard workers and lovely people – we actually missed them when they finished! Most impressive has been the obvious pride in their work with Lachie making regular stops in the aftermath to check that plants are growing as they should and that the watering system and drainage are working well. We (as well as our friends and family) have been amazed at how quickly the garden has been established just months down the track, not to mention the value it has added to our home.

We couldn’t be happier with the beautiful space Luma Landscapes has created and would highly recommend them without hesitation.

About 20 years ago Lachie designed the courtyard and garden in our first home. The thoughtful design, water feature, plant selection and lighting worked together to create a 'wow' factor day and night. That backyard was a big reason why we loved living in our home and why it was difficult to say goodbye when we sold the property earlier this year. One thing that made it easier was that the new owners fell in love with it too and could imagine their family growing up in the space.

Lachie and the Luma team did a fantastic job on recreating our front garden and side path in Richmond - we're stoked with the result, it's exactly on brief. Luma are middle-higher $ but what you'll receive is really high attention to detail, a high quality result and excellent customer service (worth the investment!). At the end Lachie came to sign everything off and provide a detailed handover and maintenance guide which was unexpected but appreciated as part of their service. I'd highly recommend working with Lachie and the Luma team again.

Much thought was given to the planning, and the construction process ran very smoothly and efficiently resulting in a beautifully finished job with great attention to detail to all areas including decking, paving and landscaping.
