Lum Reserve reviews
13A good playground overall. Unfortunately not great when it's warm as there isn't any shade. There is a BBQ area which is close to the playground so a reasonable place for small parties. The park can get very busy especially during the cricket season.
Nice park with 2 ovals. You can take your dogs to this park lead free. Great on sunny afternoons where all the neighbours bring out their dogs for socialising. There is also a playground for the kids- small, but ok. Keeps the kids busy while setting up lunch on the BBQ. Bring a cricket bat and practice at the nets, or a footy to kick on the oval.
Nice park with less crowd. Good for kids cycling or playing in the play area. But small park with less facilities. So be mindful if you are coming with a group of families.
A very nice park with a great playground, walks through the trees and a toilet block by the oval.
Many people walking their dogs on weekend but lots of droppings everywhere. Played mini soccer but ground not in good shape.
A lovely local park with loads going on.
No only does this park have two large ovals, it also houses the local footy team club rooms & a tennis club with 6 or more clay courts, nestled between the two ovals there is what is now the very last stand of a particular local, native species of Eucalyptus trees in the whole area. These trees were the predominant species that this entire area was wooded with prior to European settlement, grazing & urbanisation.
Yes, it looks a bit scruffy with fallen branches and whatnot around the wooded area but that's because they're not allowed to remove the fallen limbs as they create a habitat for local indigenous fauna also.
Yep, it's a great space that is well used by locals (both human and animal).
After a horrendous experience at Jells Park, we went to Lum reserve and enjoyed the experience. It would be good to have more table seating.
Clean and tidy walking track, play ground area for kids huge oval to watch sports great fun for everyone.
Nice sporting facilities and a nice playground with a nice woodlands area but no bathroom facilities
Not a bad local park reserve in Wheelers Hill good to take the dog for a walk or to kick
the footy around
Lovely place to take your dog. Open space and doggy bags available near the tennis club. Great refurbishment of the playground near Waverley Meadows Preschool
Excellent park really no complaints at all honestly. The playground is excellent for children for all ages
Relatively small park (leash free for those with four-legged friends) with two sporting fields, a tennis club, a couple of pathways (not for serious walkers, but nice to wander through if you're walking around the neighborhood) and a playground.
