Lukumades

We use to love the quality of lukumades as they never fail to amaze us. But recently we tried their berry white and it was pre-made with hard chunks difficult to chew. We were expecting something freshly made but they gave us the already made berry white with hard crust and hard chunks inside. Expecting a better quality next time though:) lukimades are a 100/10 but this new summer drink disappointed us

Dinner and a show. The entire experience was magical. A symphony was playing out in front of my eyes. It was a pleasure to watch a maestro at work, gently tossing those little balls of heaven, treating them as if they were his own children. Perfection can’t be rushed, and daddy took his time. Bravo THANK YOU.

Also, for the owners a recommendation to kindly put a full menu on the wall for the customers as there nothing on wall to read the menu items and pricing.

Tried lukumades for the first time. I chose the original option topped with honey and cinnamon and bueno option which has hazelnut sauce, biscuit crumble and chocolate. Both options were amazing. The staff was super nice as well. Also, the place has a nice ambiance and the prices are comparatively reasonable. Will visit here again sometime soon to try other options.

Love the freshly made donut balls here. I usually order these via Ubereats and they taste even better in person! The Tella flavour is a must get!

Came by Lukumades in Carlton to try Greek Donuts for the very first time and I really enjoyed it! These donuts are so fresh, super crispy on the outside and fluffy and airy on the inside. I can see they put a lot of care into the preparation as they frequently make fresh batches for each order. Not being a super big sweet tooth myself, I found these donuts to be the perfect level of sweetness and plenty of dessert sauces I could pick from that weren't overall too sweet (they have over 20 flavours to choose from - and defs include a few that are on the sweeter side)

I love how they can serve up to 2 flavours per serving, meaning we could really maximise on trying out the variety of flavours. I went with a group of 4 and two boxes of half/half donuts were plenty to share around. They also had refreshers, thickshakes, coffee and gelato on offer too - so you're definitely not short of dessert options here if donuts ain't your thing. The staff here are also so lovely and I love how this place is an open kitchen where you can see your order being made right infront of you.

If you happen to be already dining on Lygon St, strongly recommend you all to come by to check these guys out just to see for yourself

Terrible place, parking out is not free but they won't mention it in delivery app, no respect for delivery people, had to wait for half hour just to see my order getting even started to make, would recommend delivery people to not to accept orders from there

The Greek doughnuts!

A go to place to satisfy my sweet cravings.

They have a good number of vegan options and my favourite is the Biscoff.

We love Lukumades. And we've always had them at the Windsor branch which has always been nothing short or amazing. The manager and staff were always great too.

The Carlton branch however was pretty miserable and has really let the brand down. Impolite team, over friend and hard lukumades, and the chocolate sauce barely covered the balls it was supposed to. Very disappointing. I'd give 2 stars, but my loyalty to the brand, specifically the Windsor store, salvaged this review.

Staff are really friendly and lot of options.
Just don’t expect authentic tasting lukumades.

So good! I love that there were so many flavors to choose from and that they made everything from scratch! There was a nice sitting area and the guy that served us was super friendly! It was delicious

While eating, you can watch the street, inhale the cool air typical of monsoon days, feel the sweetness that spreads gradually from the tip of the tongue to the whole body when eating each doughnut, very good.

Great spot for sweet lovers. Fresh from the pan and served warm with toppings of your choice. Recommended if you want to try!

Food was ok but if honest nothing special. I think a lot of the takes on traditional food (greek donuts) just introduce ways to increase the price. I order 10 for about 12.50 but because i had two different toppings they charged an extra 2 bucks. Hmm felt a little ripped off actually so probsbly wont bother again. If you like hi priced donuts covered in hot chocolate sauce you will like it assuming you havd plenty of cash to spare.

Average. Very slow service, we were the only customers in store, there were 4 staff members and it took 30mins to get our tiny order.

Do not order direct off their website. They take orders they can't fulfil and don't call you when they fail to deliver. I waited 2 hours and they said they can't fulfil any deliveries and when I asked to refund my order they said they can't access the order system to process refunds either. I tried online and no option there either so I now have to dispute the transaction with my credit card provider. Totally incompetent.

Ordered the half/half biscoff and matcha mini doughnuts. The shop atmosphere was really cozy and the seating arrangement was great too. The doughnuts are quite rich in flavour and make an excellent dessert.

Been here a few times and the service has been amazing every time. Donuts are delicious and the shakes are just as good. Can’t go wrong!
