Just got back from my WA tour with Lucky Strike Gold.
Darren and his team are first class operators who went above and beyond for a newby like myself.
Didn’t find any gold the first day but found gold every other day with coaching from Darren/Geoff and David.
What I learned in 10 days on the tour would take me years to learn on my own.
Highly recommend Lucky Strike who do not detect themselves on tour but are there to assist.
They are all about their clients and making sure that everyone is included on the tour and the evening meetings around the campfire and information sessions are terrific.
Met a great group of people all with the same interests.
Thanks also to Tim/Kevin and Collin who welcomed me into their camp as I was travelling on my own.
Gday to Geoff and Julie as well, will catch up for a coffee when you get back.

The staff here are Awsome! Helpful, insightful and are willing to have a chat and share their knowledge. They are fully stocked with a tonne of great gear, books/maps, paydirt that is really good and info on trips out in the field that can be booked in store.
There are not many dedicated prospecting shops in Victoria and Lucky Strike in my eyes is probably the best of them all so check them out! Thanks from James!

Helpful and friendly team, I love visiting this store! It seems to be well stocked and has everything you need to get started. Haven't used the sluice yet so can't comment on it yet. Seems like good quality and I'll be going back for a detector soon!

The team at Lucky Strike are fantastic. The shop itself is full of absolutely everything you can imagine to do with prospecting for gold. I've bought pan's, picks, sluices, highbanker's and detector's from them as well as everything else you need like snuffer bottle, map's and Dolly pot for crushing sample rocks. I've even sold gold I found in the bush from map's they sold me to pay for other equipment.
Highly recommend visiting and shopping there. Even there online store is easy to use and up to date.
