Lucky Little Dumplings

Lucky to have found this Chinese restaurant that I can say all 4 dishes ordered were absolutely delicious. The teriyaki eggplant, salted fish chicken tofu were the highlight for the evening.

The food is quick and delicious. Small restaurant, small tables (doesn't fit many plates of food), sitting so close to people

This place must of changed owners or something because the food was disgusting. The prices have doubled and the food has become putrid.

Just tried dumplings. Pan fried pork dumplings were really good. Also tried the pork soup dumplings. Expected it to be on the soupy side. But it felt just like steam pork dumplings but the taste was good. Definitely recommended pan fried pork dumplings.

Couldn’t be worse! Meat is not fresh enough. Taste is just so so. Presentation of the dish is terrible! Service is no good as well - why asked us whether we need the plates be removed? There is no such a thing anywhere else!

Lovely food, but needed more salt.
However the sweet n sour ribs was sugar sweet n not sour at all just sweet. Had to add alot of chilli oil to make it better.
The Mongolian beef was OK
The scheswan chilli wantons were again sweet more then spicy so didn't enjoy that so much.

The pan fried mini buns are great but need more filling as more bread than filling.
The xaolong bao was had no soup in it at all
The salt n pepper prawns were very nice.
The food is OK but it's sweet so that need to change to proper flavour please.

As a vegetarian, their options aren't fantastic. But they have some amazing stables, like salt and pepper tofu and their vegetarian dumplings are amazing

Mains are more on the expensive side with how much you get.
And my meat eater friends definitely recommend the sweet and sour pork (the pork comes battered and deep-fried). They don't recommend the Mongolian beef as the sauce was a bit bland.

Overall, It's a good local restaurant, just a bit on the expensive side with good stables

If you wanna eat soup at this place make sure you have 100 litres of cold water with you. Otherwise don't bother. More oil then anything else.

Really bad experience at Bundoora lucky little dumplings today! Have ordered the two pieces of the Peking duck roll cost me $7.8, and they were very tiny pieces like the picture, the duck inside was very tiny piece and not fresh cooked duck for sure. Wasn’t quite happy initially but was thinking will express my unsatisfactory when check out. Today’s checkout person (a man) have never met this person before although I’ve been a returned customer in the past few years. He is not professional as if this happens in the other restaurants, the cost of that dish should be waived at the checkout especially customer has been already not quite happy with it. However, that man asked me had you been here before? I said yes, he asked: ” have you had this dish before? I said no, he also emphasised that this restaurant is not “shao la (Cha siu) restaurant. These are the excuse and I don’t understand why he linked Peking duck with Cha siu. Anyway, very bad experience and will never came back to this restaurant again!

Lots of options. Can get busy. I personally find the wooden chairs uncomfy and the sound they make when they are dragged on the floor bothers my ears. Friendly service.

Horrible customer service and communication, the manager Jack should really learn how to speak to customers and cater to their needs - absolutely disgusted

Great little Chinese restaurant that opens late. Every dish was good except for the prawn dumping but overall worthwhile.

WOW! Not a huge sit down space, so I recommend book a table before arriving during popular times. It is very tastefully presented, the staff are great and service was quick.
Talking of tasty - WOW, we enjoyed a funhouse of flavours. 100% looking forward to returning. Lucky us!

This place use to be good but now the prices have gone up and the portions and quality has gone down. Will not eat here ever again.

Very disappointing, the chairs are very uncomfortable. And the staff member on the front was very rude, Entering and leaving the restaurant. Left most of our meal on the plate as it was floating in oil. The only good thing about the night was the company.
Definitely will be not be going back.

Very accommodating even under busy conditions and the food was amazing. The sweet and sour pork ribs were so delicious! They must be tried. Pan fried mini pork buns, any dumplings in schicuan sauce is also a great choice. 10/10 recommend.

I had a take out of sizzling beef with vegetables with sichuan sauce and I fully loved it. The delivery from uber foods was fast and the food from this restaurant was excellent.

Tasted absolutely appalling and there was hair in my dumplings. This is a restaurant for people with no taste buds and furthermore is absolutely atrocious. Def wouldn’t recommend #concept2

Service was a -10 we wanted to have family dinner but the food came 1 hour later one by one and our dumpling entree came last, never coming again.
