Lucky Inn reviews
24Went here last night, the food was the best Chinese I've had in a long time, very tasty and the service was wonderful will definitely be going here again
Went there just now rang the bell three times no one came so left bad customer service ever for lunch
Great food and service. We are regular clients since we live within walking distance from the restaurant.
Don’t eat here if you have taste buds! Our food lacked flavour almost like they reheat frozen food. Our fried rice was burnt. Spent $70 here and felt robbed.
I saw a review about the owner, but I've been going here for years, always great food, she's always been really nice. Give people the benefit of the doubt because you actually don't know what's happening in their lives.
New Years eve takeaway 2022 A very lucky find! The food was excellent, the staff very friendly with a wonderful personal service, especially when placing my order with Lee! We will definitely be returning
A spur of the moment decision to go out for dinner on a Sunday evening! And I was NOT disappointed at all. Lovely authentic atmosphere and decor, with minimul wait for a table for 3. A good sign was that the takeaway service was very busy! Table service was with no fuss and quick. No awkward small talk, just down to business. Dim sims were good, special fried rice was lovely, and the sweet and sour battered pork was simply delicious-reminded me of the old traditional fare! I will be going back again and am looking forward to another delicious meal. Thank You Lucky Inn.
My Dad has been going here for 30 years and he really enjoys it. So when there is a extended family dinner out that's where we go. Food always great. Last night we were the only ones dining in but a few getting takeaway. Didn't mind being the only ones as the food came out really quickly. Gentlemen serving us was friendly, funny and attentive. Overall a great meal.
If I could, I would rate this restaurant 0 stars.
I ordered the dinner box and chose Kung Po Chicken with dry chilli & CASHEWS however when I checked my food before leaving the restaurant, there wasn’t any cashews in it. When I told the male cashier, he replied no cashews in dinner box. The menu clearly shows to order anything from the chicken menu. It is not written anywhere that the dinner box does not come with cashews. The cashier was so rude to customers. Clearly has no hospitality values.
Also, he didn’t calculate the amount correctly. He was over charging. When corrected him, he said I have already calculated it. I told him twice that what he is charging me is incorrect. He finally did the calculation again and says “oh yes”.
No apology or whatsoever for the incident. Pathetic customer service.
Will never go back and wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone.
The chicken kung pow was great- heaps of flavour with proper chilli's.
The pork Peking was disappointing. Low quality pork painted pink and had the consistency of a bath mat.
Lovely meals and friendly service every time we come. There isn't another Chinese restaurant in the area that's as good a this place!
Collected takeaway and got home to discover 1 of the 2 dishes was not what I ordered. On phone they requested I bring it back for correct one. Upon arrival they advise they don't have any left. Got refund, no apology, she is rude.
The best! Tasty, fresh, fast and reasonable prices. We also got a beef and black bean. Won't go anywhere else

Best Asian food i've had in a while - was very clean and well managed by only 2 staff available!
We've been getting take-away here regularly for a number years and have eaten in on a number of occasions. The meals are always tasty and ingredients always fresh.
Find the lady quite rude and to top it off I pull a bug out off my soup and still charged us nearly the full price of the bill
We’ve had the good fortune to enjoy this tasty local Chinese/Malaysian establishment on many occasions.
Lucky Inn has been one of our locaL favs for many years. BYO for a start and the choice of dishes is quite large having that Malaysian influence. The majority of ther dishes are great and the price is right. You go with a few friends, order plenty and you are out for approx $50 a couple. You cant complain about that these days. Give it a go, and in these testing times, we need to do all we can to support local business!
Very disappointed over the last few years we have enjoyed many dine in and takeaway meals but last night very sad we had a large special fried rice, honey chicken in batter with cashews and 2 vegetable spring roll.spring roll very oily the chicken wasn’t to bad not a lot of cashews but the rice was a slightly Grey browny sort of colour very tiny shrimps
