LTT Melbourne / Labtech Training Victoria

I’m completed my Cert IV program recently and my tutor Arora was excellent! Made it very easy and clear to understand.

I have just completed the phlebotomy course from LTT. I'd like to thank the knowledgeable trainers and staff at LTT, especially my mentor, Kellie Peart, who was calm, supportive and humorous. I learned a lot from her expertise in venepuncture techniques and patient relations; she even helped me to pronounce some difficult names of patients. From my first day of placement, she helped me gain confidence quickly and since then I have done the job without any problems. I also had opportunities to see some real medical situations and learn how to deal with them calmly. I felt supported and under no pressure from my mentor. Many thanks to Kellie for making my placement enjoyable.

I started the Cert IV program 8 Months ago and I never actually struggled with any units as my Tutor, Arora, has been very attentive, explains information in simple terms and is very attentive. Any questions that I had was answered and he has expanded more on some of them. His dedication on getting me through the course is very commendable. LTT is definitely a good program to start off with and continue growth. 100% recommended. ️️️️️

Incompetent management. Incredibly disrespectful, unprofessional and crude staff in particular. Avoid.

EDIT: Unfortunately I have to update this review because my view of LTT has soured at bit.
When it comes to placement there is NO guarantee that you’ll get anything near you even though they have it. I am currently in Geelong or placement but I live in Footscray, my classmate lives in Geelong but she was sent to Cranbourne. I found out yesterday that there was another student doing placement at a location closer to my home which was extremely frustrating.
My assessor showed up, without notice, on my SECOND DAY putting pressure on my poor mentor who was actually a relief staff member because my actual mentor was unwell. Not to mention the stress it put on me to be forced to do bleeds under that kind of pressure. Luckily I am already employed in a similar environment so I was able to perform my tasks with the utmost care and professionalism. Thankfully Eve was an absolute gem, I understand Eve is a new trainer at LTT and she was a wealth of knowledge and experience that made me feel comfortable and confident.
I do have to give a shout-out to Admin Coordinator Lia for being so patient, professional, thorough and clear with all of her emails and communication. What an asset to LTT.

Absolutely phenomenal and would recommend LTT to anyone looking to get into the health care industry. I’m currently studying a Certificate III in Pathology Collection under Jolanta and she’s a phenomenal teacher. Very thorough, understanding, helpful and passionate.

The entire team all around Australia are just amazing and being that they were already running online before this viral outbreak, being able to remotely study during lockdown was just awesome.

100% will be doing any further healthcare learning through LTT! They’re the best!

The highlight of my experience doing a Cert III of Pathology Collection with LTT Melbourne was our trainer Jolanta. She brought a wealth of embodied knowledge and made sure we felt supported and confident in learning these new skills. She made the course fun and engaging with her sense of humour and wisdom. I was prepared for some pretty dry content but she was so intuitive that she made the effort to ensure we were kept stimulated and interested. I can't sing her praises enough.the whole class was very grateful for her. She's no longer with LTT though. I was pleasantly surprised by how diverse the class was and was so lucky to have been put with such a great bunch of people. Sadly, the communication with LTT outside the classroom is poor and their priority is money. I was supposed to complete placement 4 months ago and still have not been contacted by LTT to arrange this. The only time they tried to contact me was for outstanding fees that I did not owe. If only their priorities were securing quality placement for their students then this would have been a very different review.

" Jolanta Kfoury, is one of those rare inspirational educators that will have a positive affect on you for life. She is motivational, supportive and a force or positive nature! Take this course just for her!

This is a place for you to meet great instructor (Jolanta Kfoury, you're the best! <3) who gives you wonderful experience and great staff (Darcy, the cute guy sitting behind the counter). On top of that, I have the best peers. Hope everyone will be able to get a job soon. Happy Graduating

LTT was a great experience for me. My trainer and assessor, Jolanta Kfoury was a great mentor. She taught me many things and was very patient and caring towards everyone's learning journey. She treated us more as friends rather than students.

It was right choice made to join laboratory technology certificate 4 I am being trained in LTT on May-Sept 2019, the trainer (Vinita) is very well experienced and knowledgeable I am highly satisfied with her training. The course is very well organised. Thanks to Deborah to find me a job.
