I came in with a friend and wasn’t planning to buy any good products, but ended up purchasing a new bag for my sweet heart. I was served by Eliza and I felt very welcome as she was very lovely and helpful. She was very informative and provided recommendations for the engraving, which was done very prompt, especially since I was in a rush. She provided exceptional customer service as I felt cared for throughout the entire process, and even a few days after, she sent a text message to check up on me.

Walking into this store is like walking into a filming of Kath & Kim staring Trude & Prue (the two rude shop assistants) They are so rude and think so highly of themselves it's comical. Let me enlighten the people that work here, "you are not solving world hunger or world peace, you are selling handbags and other overpriced throw-away items. Get over yourself and drop the attitude. "
My partner bought some plastic overpriced sunglasses from this shop, only to be told that they don't have a case for them. I don't know how you can receive stock of say 100 sunglasses and not receive the same amount of cases if you are meant to get a case with every pair and glasses. How could a so called world class brand be so useless at service. Oh and they were meant to call the next week and post the case to us, four weeks later and nothing. You would get better service from KMart.

Service: 2/10 (rude and unhelpful)

Physical shop: 3/10 (had to carry a pram up stars)
Product quality: 1/10 (incomplete product being sold)

As a consumer, I am really disappointed with LV company in Melbourne. I have found at least four or five salesmen and made seven or eight customer service calls. No matter in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane, they can't help me complete the refund. I paid, I can't get my shoes, I can't get a refund, and I really don't know what I'm going to do next. Compared with lv from other state, whether it is Sydney,Brisbane. I think Australian Melbourne LV in Collins street is the worst. Trash Collins Street LV:)Go to another LV store in Melbourne, don't go to this one, you'll just be treated differently. I'm ready to call my lawyer.

Lousy customer service. Not necessarily this store but Louis Vuitton as whole. I had a belt for about a year, worn less than 20 times and the pin broke. Incredibly surprised given the price of the belt… Took it into store and they expected me to pay $250 for a replacement. I said no because for a $600 belt how is this not covered under warranty? ! They then told me they don’t do warranties, which is actually illegal Eventually they did order me a new belt buckle but it’s been about 2 months now and I haven’t heard anything. Went into the store to follow up and they said I need to contact online, who I called and now they are contacting the store. Nobody seems to know what is happening. Literally so over Louis Vuitton. More than happy to take your money, but won’t give you any service after they’ve taken it. An absolute joke. I’ve bought many LV items over the years and this will be the last.

Extremely unwelcoming, rude staff. Shocking, untrustworthy customer service I would not expect to see in such a store. Staff took our names down as we entered and nobody came to serve us after that. Security guards stared at us angrily the whole time. Staff just stared at us sometimes and nobody came to service us. Even when I told them that I had specific items to buy, they just said that I had to wait. When most of the customers had left the store, still nobody came to serve us. I asked three times and they just said that I had to wait. Finally we left the store. It wasted us at least 45 minutes. This is the second time I have had a bad experiences in this store. I will never come back again and do not recommend to anyone. Go to another store. 0/5

Staff took our names down as we entered and left the store and when we looked around to see if they had done this to any other customer, everybody else was able to walk in and out without this belittling experience. We were browsing the store and 2 security guards followed us closely and stared us down angrily the whole time. We were dressed appropriately and nicely too!

I’d give zero stars if I could. I’ve always had good experience walking into luxury stores but the customer service experience at LV Collins put me off yesterday. The man showing me the SLGs was disinterested and plain unhelpful. I had to practically persuade him to show me more wallets from the stock drawer. I walked out feeling put off by the brand and experience, and ended up finding what I was after with the help of the lovely staff at Chanel. Won’t be returning, spend your money elsewhere. Try Chadstone if you’re into LV as their service is heaps better.

Luxury tag without the experiences these days. I’m not a person that needs my hand held, and usually arrive knowing what I want to purchase already, but for the experience to now be as basic as standing in the middle of the store in amongst crowds selecting a 5k bag from a staff members phone to be brought out from out back eventually. Nope. I could do that online faster and more efficiently if I really wanted an item that badly, OR I could walk to another brand easily, have an equal quality luxury item, with the added bonus of customer service that somewhat aligns with the brand values and experience expected - which is what we did.

The sale assistant I had wasn’t particularly interested in helping. He was on his mobile phone most of the time. I still bought the pair of shoes I went to, but it would have been better if we had been more welcomed and treated better than that. His name is Luis.

Legally questionable consumer policy which has been reported to ACCC and ombudsman

Staff are trained to uphold policy before the guest experience.

They are shocking do not buy from LV as their ethos is their interests come before the customer experience, the customer loyalty and dignity.

They treat the transaction with mechanical scripting and for what is pitching as a luxury brand behave the same as an inexperienced behind the times business. The arrogance of it and the ignorance of it all will eventually see the demise in the next few years

Consumers will leave in droves. Disgraceful conduct Louis Vuitton, looking forward to watching you fade out of the market

Met at the door and then given your own attentive personal assistant to walk you through any questions and help you find exactly what your looking for.even if not purchasing that day. Great experience in wonderful customer relations.

Fantastic upmarket store. Very professional, attentive and friendly service. Best to make an appointment, although walk-ins also allowed. Obviously expensive, so check product details online.

I had my best shopping experience ever with Shannon O’brien. She was super nice and was able to helped me with entire gift selecting for my boyfriend’s upcoming birthday. She is the true asset of Louis Vuitton Collins St! I normally a Chadstone customer but I decided to come to Collins in the future because of her!

Very respectful of the staff to deny water to a 8 months pregnant lady with an excuse our butler has finished for the day.
Do not recommend shopping from this store, lacks hospitality and customer services!

I would’ve given this place 5/5 start, only giving it a 3/5 for a few reasons.
First time I came here was with my partner, it was for my birthday to purchase my first Alma BB. The greeter - I wouldn’t even call him that, was not friendly at all. I was then assign to John C, gave no information or even much service whatsoever. He didn’t even talk much and basically just looked at everything and on top of that my boyfriend felt so judged by every sales consultant. They didn’t even give him a time of day to greet him and offer assistance when I was busy doing my own thing. The only time we both felt appreciated was when my partner pulled out his cash and paid my bag in full cash - only then we got a proper service! Like all we needed to do was flash cash to get an actual service, how atrocious!

I requested for my bag to get my initial printed on which I had to come back to when it was done. Now I went back to the same store a couple of days later - the greeter this time was much more friendly and more welcoming. On top of that, 5 mins into waiting for my bag to be done, I was offered some champagne and water and was also asked if I wanted to see/get some assistance which actually felt nice that I had someone care that I was there.

Now I received my bag with my hot stamp from the manger rodrigo - what an amazing soul he has! I told him how it’s my first bag, not only did he told me about the history of LV, he even showed me how to properly put my tag and keys together. On top of that, he gave me some perfume samples for my boyfriend and I to try. He made me feel so welcome and appreciated. He offered for me to text him next time I want to come into the store. He is the reason why I’m giving this store a 4/5 even though we had a terrible experience the first time.
