Lost Australia Station / The Great Escape

This is good value for money if you go on one of their discounted days (currently Tuesday and Thursday, paid $32pp). Friendly staff and decent waiting area although the air hockey pucks were broken by some previous visitors so unable to use that. We did the mummy room in 33 mins with 4 first timers and 3 people who had done rooms before. Staff did a nice job of setting the scene and the theming was fun. I won't spoiler the details of the room but there were some cool puzzles, just some of the latter aspects were not as much on theme. It was quite linear so a big group can sometimes be at a loose end. The room is easily done with 3-4.

However, the closing task to open the door. Let's just say, if you're neurosomething and don't like a lot of yelling and noise, The Mummy is not the escape room for you! (Owners if you're reading this, make that task duration shorter)

Finishing the room was a real anticlimax as there was nobody waiting for us and it was a walk back down the corridor to the waiting area and "hey well done" - we had to actually run back to the room to get our time! There was no photo area with props to pose with for a group photo after successfully escaping together which is a really fun and celebratory part of other escape rooms I've been to. Perhaps a feedback point for the team?

Anyway, it was fun for the amount we paid, but I would've been disappointed if I'd paid the full price.

Staff were super accommodating with us being late to our escape room The Walking Undead, and managed to squeeze us in to The Mummy in such short notice.
Considering that 5/6 of us were first timers, the room given to us was fun as well as a slight challenge, keeping us on our toes.
A huge thank you to the crew at The Great Escape for an awesome experience. We will be back

My recent visit to the Great Escape was disappointing. We did the "Sherlock's Home" room.and it just didn't make sense. Don't know why it was named this, had NO links to Sherlock at all, no storyline and it was just a bunch of random puzzles. A more appropriate name for the room would have been. " Mystery of the golden zodiac statues! ". Since that seemed to be the main focus.
Some parts of gameplay were fun, but the whole room was too linear, with no need to go back to solve puzzles/ find clues. We liked handling the zodiac statues and the dark room and crawl thru - but apart from that.
We did escape with seconds to spare, but relied on a 2 clues, 1 to get us started and 1 on the final puzzle.

*There is no point just putting a series of difficult puzzles in a room without linking it to a story or having some logical story flow.
This venue has just been purchased by new owners who intend to redo/ makeover the rooms- so I hope the next time I visit, the gameplay will be much improved and new rooms will be more logical and immersive to play.
Staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the cozy, family room setup in the lobby with a pool table, table tennis and fuzeball for guests to play while waiting.

Great activity to do that tests your mind and relationships with family and friends! Staff were super friendly and professional

Great stuff! Managed to get scared despite choosing a fairly innocuous theme but it was great fun!

Disappointing experience! While it was a challenge 2 doors were opened already (rooms not ready!) which meant we were unable to complete the room. We would have loved a second chance! Felt like a waste of money.

My group has done a few escape rooms and we entered into Lost Australia Station ready to take on Level 6. This room was very interactive and we loved it! Definitely enjoyed our time!

Just escaped from Level 6 and enjoyed it. We got a little bit stuck (hint: don't forget to use/bring all equipment between rooms!) but still managed to escape with time on the clock.

Definitely up there with my favourite escape rooms so far, hopefully going to try the Aokigahara room tomorrow (has a <1% success rate) and hopefully we are going to escape!

I hired out the entire venue for my 30th birthday party and it was the best most unique party I've ever hosted.

I would highly recommend going to Lost and any of Eric's rooms. He's passionate about Escape Rooms and puzzles and puts a lot of work and effort in to them, which shows because of the quality of his rooms. And they're really friendly and helpful with helping out with hints etc. I've done all 6 and would highly recommend Alcatraz, Aoikigahara and Exodus. Their use of technology and story is excellent and enhances the experience. Can't wait to see more from this excellent team.

Been here twice and both times have been great! Always fun doing their escape rooms. The puzzles were challenging, but the staff were also very helpful throughout the process. Managed to JUST get out on time (with a little help from the staff). Highly recommend going here for some escape room fun!

Veronica was very Friendly & helpful. The escape room was puzzle and maths orientated and had some good twists. We really enjoyed!

Good escape room that focuses on puzzles than horror. A good variety of puzzles. Would choose more difficult level next time though.

We escaped from Level 6, which was a hoot with the crew. It was challenging but really fun! Definitely recommend coming over to Lost Australia for your next catch up with friends

Had the best time in Exodus! Just the right amount of struggle and reward. The staff were lovely and helpful when we needed a hint (only a small one)

Had a great time here doing an escape room! Didn't finish first time, but they let us have another go for free so we could get the satisfaction of finishing. There's pool and fun games in the lobby so you can chill while waiting for you session to start.

Very awesome place. Staff member were awesome. Tried Exodus prepare to think outside the box a lot. Multiple heads recommended or people wanting to dip their heads in to experience an escape room. Much recommendded

Very fun, enjoyed every moment of it. Though it can be challenging. This was my 3rd time coming here. Totally recommend to anyone wanting to try escape rooms
