Lorne Visitor Information Centre

The ladies here were very knowledgeable, friendly and seemed to love their job. Great information and maps available. The highlight was the great ocean road story display, well worth the visit.

The ladies at the Visitor Information Centre (VIC) were extremely helpful, and knowledgeable.
There is also a display about the Story of The Great Ocean Road inside the VIC.

Stella was very helpful we were staying in Lorne for 2 days and Stella mapped out waterfalls great restaurants and coffee places

Very helpful staff, great history on construction of the Great Ocean Rd, and diverse selection of eclectic gifts from the area.

Came for the EV charging. Nice staff. Great initiative to get people spending more time in Lorne. We unexpectedly ended up using the charger on our return trip too & spending more time at local businesses because of it.
Hopefully the opportunity presents itself to add another charger or upgrade to a rapid in future which would make Lorne a required stop through the great ocean road

The staff really want to help. There is a great (small) tour which charts the truly amazing efforts of returned soldiers pivotal in the creation of The Great Ocean Road.

We loved it there and the history of the building of the Great Ocean Road. Soo much footage of the workers and the story of their sweat n tears to build it. Must read and see.

Lady was very helpful there were tons of souvenirs and other stuff to buy there. Brochures to see and do stuff in lorne and other parts

Very informative. Had a great display about the 100 yr old Great Ocean Road. Bought some lovely souvenirs as well.

Part of Great Ocean Road Drive attractions. 2 days and 1 night is recommended for this trip. Start early morning to avoid traffics. Bring umbrella as backup.

It's like a regular information centre. You can find alot of useful information there and get some small souvenirs.

Good Staffs. Gave us maps and explained the surrounding. There's restrooms in there as well. Gave us an idea of what to do when we were at the great ocean road.

Meets a need. Could do with longer hours and more parking. Then again, Lorne is short on parking.

A great stop for children and adults alike. Best place to have a rest stop while on the great Ocean drive.

Plenty of help, ladies are well informed. Keepsakes are a must to have and they have some lovely things.

Can not recommend them enough. Helpful and generous with their time and local knowledge. Thank you thank you thank you
