Lorne Community Hospital

My 17 month old son had a tempriture at 2 30am, got seen straight away, Mark and the accompanying nurse (apologies for not getting your name). They were both brilliant, warm and reasuring. Thankyou so much. Also thankyou to the red cross volunteers for the little teddy, my sons new favorate toy.

We were really looking forward to a short break away.like everyone else at the moment.and thought Lorne would be ideal for us!
So we checked in to our hotel, and settled in to our room. After a short walk, my husband was feeling unwel!
Thankfully, the Urgent Care department at Lorne hospital.to who we are very grateful.agreed to see my husband!
Simon, in Urgent Care, took great care of him and did all the possible tests he could.
Following all of that, my husband had to be taken to Geelong via ambulance!
Not long after I arrived home I had a call from Simon updating me on what was happening.that was so kind and reassuring!

Thank you to Simon and the team in the emergency department for looking after us Sunday. The girls were very upset and scared when they arrived but left with big smiles on their faces.

Friendly AND professional - 3 nurses (all blokes, btw) and a doc (Libby). Rang my chemist and home hospital to identify my medication needs ahead of ransferr to Geelong Hospital, saving time. Given I was suffering a spot of bother I was not only impressed but extremely appreciative.
