Lorm Thai Restaurant

I always order the pad see ew and didn’t think to look at the fact they now make it with vermicelli and not the traditional flat rice noodle. It was more like a noodle soup than noodle dish.

Ordered through uber eats. That order turned up on time, hot nice food.
30 minutes later another delivery turned up, which matched an order we made last year & was charged to us. Unable to reverse order. We did not make the 2nd order or even acknowledge any confirmation of that order. Very disappointing & will not order from here again.

The lunch deal is well worth doing as food choices are good, quality and quantity fine with friendly owner and staff.

We went to Lorm twice. The first time was great, but the second time they served our food cold. We ordered a steamed fish but it came out not even warm. Very disappointed.

If I could rate this restaurant 0 stars, I would because it doesn’t even deserve 1.
Ordered through Ubereats, delivered within an hour, no problems there.
But upon receiving it and getting inside, I went to open the pad Thai and I could already feel how oily it was when opening the container. I ordered the vegetarian pad Thai and Rotti bread with peanut sauce, the pad Thai was basically a $20 meal covered in charred bits despite it not being burnt so it makes me think they don’t clean the items they cook with and a river of sweet brown soup at the bottom. The Rotti bread was so burnt that it was inedible and it was also oily. Paid $36 for the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. Quality of the food was very underwhelming considering the price.

Delicious flavour filled Thai food. The red curry and the pineapple curry are delicious.
The noodle dishes and coconut rice are very good. Lorm Thai are exceptional and dish out consistently great meals.

Good flavours but what’s with the blue food colouring in the green curry to make it more green?

Most rude Staff/owner of any thai restaurant i have experienced.

Apparently if you working for them you can't use their toilet but if you are customer you can. They delay in cooking so drivers have to wait. And i hope the owner learn how to be kind.

Beautiful little restaurant. Even though the lady forgot to come take our order she went above and beyond to make it up to us even though we didn’t mind. Meals were to die for and service was fabulous, could not have asked for a better night! 20/10

Ordered through Uber Eats 6.30 pm. Order cancelled at 8.10pm. Thanks for nothing, no reason given for cancellation.

At the moment due of course to lockdown, only takeaway is available. This was my first experience with Lorm, although I have passed the business thousands of times.
The food was excellent. We had spring rolls, satay sticks, curry puffs, Pad Thai, Garlic Pork, Prawn fried rice, chicken with cashew nuts, seafood curry and Thai vegetables.
The food was fresh, plentiful and very tasty.
We will definitely be going again.

Best Thai ever, we moved to Queensland and returned to Geelong and had to get our fix.

Unfortunatley we found every dish we ordered to be sub par, vegetables were soft - not crisp, the chicken in our dishes tasted more "boiled " than stir fried, the vegetable spring rolls had virtually no vegies- just noodles, even the sweet chili sauce was watery and tasteless, unless you like vinegar.and the rice was actually a bit gluey. Really disappointing experience at a restaurant that we used to visit quite frequently. Don't like to say it but tonight's meal was easily the worst Thai meal we have had ever.

The food is delicious and has such a nice flavour! But there was Peas in everything! Peas don’t belong in Thai!

Staffs are nice and foods pretty good! But you need prepare yourself that may very busy so it’s gonna take long times to prepare your food.

Best roti! Delicious food made with very fresh ingredients. Take away only only at the moment with pick up outside. I felt very comfortable and safe while waiting to collect my food and the staff were really friendly.

Truely Authentic Thai cuisine.
One of the best Pad Thai and Masaman Curries we have tasted.
Decently priced will go again when in the area.

Slow service- we had been seated for an hour before our order was even taken, then another 45mins before any food came out which is not helpful with kids. Multiple dishes had hair in them. Some dishes tasted great but most were like what you would get in a food court, not fresh Thai flavours that we had hoped for.
Also refused to allow us to pay seperately and it wasn’t busy so it is feasible that we could have.

Its a shame!
Beautiful food, terrible slow service!

I gave them another chance for home delivery, unfortunately the meals, could of been better. Small servings for a huge price.
