Looksmart Alterations

Got my suit pants altered at look smart and the service was very good and the price is fair. Unfortunately when I tried the pants on after picking them up they where far lower than originally pinned.

Never again. First time I took two pairs of jeans. One pair they took up higher than the other. They looked ridiculous with a lower cut boot (the boot I wore when fitting) Second time I took four tshirts to take up. Two came back with what looked like food stuck to it, or worse (maybe mucus?) I wish I could post a photo of it, because it’s disgusting.

Don’t take your expensive clothes here, I got them to fix a zipper on my nice jacket, $40 later and they wrecked it! I used to get my pants taken up here but they even took them up too much last time and lastly, the little old lady here is really not friendly at all so I’m afraid can’t recommend them and will have to find a new alterations place myself…

I would like to leave 0 stars for this company.
The worker here is next level rude. Which normally i dont mind if you do a good job im happy for you to give some attitude.hemming was crooked and stitching unprofessional.

I would steer away, and by looking at how many new bad reviews recently looks likes its a new owner sewing with her feet

Terrible job on shortening some pants legs uneven. Bad service

Business has changed hands since I have last used them. Now very expensive for small jobs will be going elsewhere next time

Terrible customer service, I actually walked out midway being pinned due to the rudeness and unprofessional approach. Ended up at Alternew on Skye Road who were super friendly and charged me less than half price than was quoted by Looksmart

They can't do anything with leather included - and refer to the seaford dry cleaners as they are a "better" dry cleaners.

Nice work on my Levi's 503 jeans needed them taken up a little bit with the orange threading cost around $35 for each pair.
They told me they would ring around lunchtime they never did but their could be more to it.

This used to be a great service, with an older highly-skilled Turkish tailor. Sadly now it’s run by youngsters who don’t understand clothing in the same way. They’ve rendered a dress unwearable as their alterations now make it pulled and puckered at the back; and they refused to fix it.

Went to get suits altered for a wedding ended up costing me over my expectations which was on the tiger end of $$$ bracket.will not use them again.

Absolutely saved the day when I took my intricate lace gown for the races in the night before. The customer service was kind and understanding and they did an amazing job taking up a fishtail and maintaining the shape perfectly. Can not recommend highly enough. Will certainly be bringing my future garments here. Thank you so much!

Anita was fantastic. She altered my wedding dress and did an amazing job. Would definitely recommend and will go back to her for all my alterations from now on.
