Longbeach RSL

Waited over an hour for our meals, Chicken was dry, 1 small slice of meat in the seniors roast, Expensive for what we got, Atmosphere was nice, Staff very friendly

First and probably the last time visiting this venue. Opted for a Parma and a pot for Friday lunch and at $44 it didn't represent good value, nor was it a memorable dish.

Having said that, the service was very good, the staff friendly and the venue comfortable.

We were so disappointed with the meal of Roast Pork on Sat 29/4/23. Were in a party of 30 or more & the two others on our table also left their “tough” pork on their plates.
I told Gio the waiter but never got offered a refund. The meal was NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE & I will be ringing to complain shortly but have had a death in the family so couldn’t call today. I have now spoken to Longbeach RSL who have offered me a meal voucher. Thanks Mandy & Rachael.

We attended the dawn service along with hundreds of locals. Beautifully read ceremony by the President of the RSL and the Reverend. It was our first time attending one, and we found it emotional and informative. The torch was lit, and the wreaths were laid by all members of the community, covering many organisations, military and local, which was lovely to see. We were impressed with the number of young people that were there. Beautiful way to celebrate our first, of hopefully many, Anzac days. Knocks the socks off the events we've attended in the UK in the past.

This RSL, same with any RSL, is a very special place. Their food is awesome, the service is fantastic and the staff are friendly. What more could we ask.

We had dinner here last week and were very disappointed with the whole experience.
My wife had steak which was burnt around the edges.
I had a chicken Parma the smallest Parma I've ever seen.
My 6yo's meal came out 15 minutes after our meals?
We had to ask the staff where was my son's meal.
It's the 2nd bad experience we've had here in 2 visits 3 years apart.
We won't be darkening your doorstep again.

Hadn't been to Longbeach RSL for some time. Wow! Really nice from the moment you step through the front doors. I've had lunch there several times since. Staff are friendly. Food is very reasonably priced. The overall decor presents a calm, peaceful atmosphere. I like the place!

The venue looks stunning but the pork roast was the worst roast ever. It appeared that it had been cooked in the microwave and was only half cooked. We could not eat this terrible meal and sent it back with instructions to the chef. NEVER

I eat at the RSL often and have done so over many years.
The meals are always good.
Nice environment with very friendly, polite staff.
I would recommend having a evening at the Chelsea RSL.

Decor is great. The restaurant and kitchen staff go above and beyond to provide excellent, pleasant service. The food is fantastic, tasty and generous serves. That, plus a friendly welcome is why we keep going back.

What a wonderful Valentines Day at The Longbeach RSL. Wonderful staff and service. Outstanding dining in a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back to enjoy a great night out to dinner. Much thanks to the chef

Really looking good after a renovation. Been there after a very very long time and was pleasantly surprised. Well done n keep up the great work. Will certainly come by for a meal later on.

Great service and food was delicious. Have already made a booking to bring family and friends for lunch. Can't wait for the yummy food, great choices for all ages and they even have a play area for the kids.

Came for a function. Food was terrible, stood at bar for 25 mins only to be told they had no champagne glasses. Staff very rude and inexperienced

Menu is Lacking. No real choice. Most RSLs are great food wise and pretty old looking. This one looks flashy but the food is not the that great. I know where I would rather be.

Great friendly staff, lunch was great and served promptly, nice relaxed atmosphere with ample parking, hope to go there again for a drink and enjoyable meal with friends

Went with friends was most disappointed with the meal. Seafood platter was overcooked and wife's calamari was tough. Would not recommend.

Disappointed with the service last night, very haphazard. Friday meat raffle was 10 mins late, no one could hear the microphone kept cutting out. Think we will give this place a miss for a while.

Sportsbar was quiet and depressing. They weren't even playing the football when two different games were on. I guess the bistro looks nice. Drinks relatively cheap which is why two stars instead of one.

We’ve been living in this area for about 6 months, but only realised this place was here tonight. We had a delicious mushroom soup and a minestrone soup (it was the night for soups) + one of us also tried the pork. All meals were really excellent, tasty and gorgeously presented. The service was great too! The place was recently renovated and looks beautiful with a nice ambience. I would highly recommend this place to visit for both the food and the atmosphere experience.
