Lombard Party & Events Chirnside Park

I have always found the staff lovely and the products for sale reasonably priced. However - we hired some party equipment from there (chairs) and they were absolutely disgusting. So filthy - with older people with health issues coming we had to disinfect and clean them before we could use them. In these times of Covid numbers rising etc do better

Requested x2 helium balloons be inflated. Store declined due to not preordering. Who preorders 2 helium balloons? Went to Big W. No problems and cheaper anyway

I would have to say I have now been served twice by Brianna and had one phone conversation with her. All three times she was dismissive, aggressive and very very argumentative. She seems very inexperienced. I did not appreciate being made to feel I was asking too much when I asked to change the colour of my ribbons and balloons BEFORE my order had been put together. Her customer service is disgusting! She should NOT be in retail if she does not know how to treat a customer with respect and understanding! She showed no remorse what so ever! She did NOT care how she was speaking to me! She is just so rude!
I even think she “thinks” she has a right to be rude! I will not shop there ever again, nor will I recommend your store to any of my friends/family!

I haven't been to Lombards since I visited them in Mitcham and that would be decades, true. But up at Chirnside near Autobarn is their new store and it's full of great things for Parties supply's ie Balloons, Streamers, Fancy Dress Costumes etc, you get my drift!
We got all our footy things for home from there, it will look great once we finish it on Wednesday.

I went into Lombards in Chirnside Park just with an idea of what I required for balloons for a 50th Birthday. Breanna could not do enough to assist and guide me through. Nothing was ever too much and extremely helpful. The end result was amazing and could not of been happier. Big shout out to Breanna - your awesome!

Please re ticket/ make sure items are in the correct spot as everything I bought scanned at a different price then what it said on the shelves

A massive thank you to the team at Lombards Chirnside Park! We had a disaster in doing our own DIY balloons but the team saved the day in particular Kira who was so helpful and delivered excellent customer service.
We have learnt our lesson and wouldn’t trust anyone but these guys.

We were so impressed by some ballon’s that we brought from this store. This store goes above and beyond and their customer service is excellent. I needed a small amount of balloons put together to celebrate a small family event for my husband’s birthday and the Chirnside Park store accommodated with minimal notice. The balloons were exactly what I needed and this was all organised over the phone and I collected the Balloons within an hour of making the call. The quality of these balloons were excellent and they have lasted two weeks. The personalised writing added to the experience. Thanks to Lombards at Chirnside Park and to Brianna for helping my husband’s special day as he was extremely happy to receive these Balloons.

Enquired three times over three weeks regarding supply of red cellophane. Told out of stock each time and told to call back next week. On fourth enquiry today was told out of stock again. Upon expressing my frustration over the phone, I feel that staff member Kath completely overreacted, stating that she ‘doesn’t appreciate my tone’ and that she is ‘a human being’. Upon trying to help calm her down, stating this is my fourth enquiry about the same product, I was hung up on and phone was not answered when I tried to call back.

I honestly thought red cellophane would be an easy enough purchase, but 4 calls over 4 weeks and a hang up later, it has gotten way out of hand. I originally wanted to buy from Lombards as I feel they have good quality products, however, after this phone conversation I doubt I’ll ever return.

Been shopping at Lombard Cranbourne weekly for 5 years and always stocked everything we need. Cranbourne has unfortunately closed and now I’m left in limbo. Tried chirnside park on 3 occasions now, each time the items I need they don’t stock. Always understaffed too and I wait 10 minutes just to be told sorry we don’t stock that. Staff are friendly, nice, and helpful though.

Was served by Kat this morning regarding a balloon garland for my 21st, was the most lovely and genuine person who cared and understood the stresses of hosting your own event! Easy going and such a cool gal - sorry if I have misspelt your name x

Lost half my 3 year old nephews balloons to the wind on the way out to my car. The 3 girls behind the counter helped me out promptly and on the spot to make sure my brother never has to find out.haha. Thanks Kat and friends (sorry can’t remember your names)

Staff went above and beyond to help my daughter and I out. Great shop, so many products.can't believe I haven't been there before. Certainly will for the next party. Highly recommended

Expensive and not very exciting. I've been shopping at Lombard's for years, thought the new store might be a bit updated. Need to change layout, get some new items. Feels like nothing has changed in 20 years.

The customer service at Chirnside Lombard is exceptional, they are so accomodating and go over and above to help you. I my daughters first birthday and they were store transferring things in for me, giving me their advice on colour scheme and best products to use. Thank you for all your help ladies, I will be back!

I really like the range of costumes and party needs they have. They are really friendly and helpful.

How hard would it be to make a gender reveal Ballon? ! Well, for this place seems quite difficult, as they were incapable of filling it with a colour and ruined our gender reveal party.

They are just not trust worthy and unprofessional. Don't risk your party too with them.

So happy to see you stayed open for Click & Collect during ANOTHER Lockdown! We couldn't go out to lunch for Valentines Day, but a bunch of balloons always saves the day:)
