Lollipops Playland and Cafe

Worst birthday party experience! So called hosting was explained as serving food only but they didn’t even serve food well. Family members had to help. We needed to ask for everything we needed for every step, like food, drinks, birthday cake and so on! We ordered ultimate package. Each food option was served in a super small bowl for 16 kids! The ice cream cake was super small as well. Every thing happened on site was so frustrating and embarrassing. It was a mess. And the pizza included in the package wasn’t even served at all. I strongly recommend you not to come here to celebrate your kids’birthday. Otherwise you will see a disaster!

Wouldn’t recommended! We had a party today and very disappointed. I chose platinum package, nearly no service at all. I need to ask everything by myself and I was been told the party host is only in charge of serving food. However, parents helped serving food. The Cat has no interaction with kids. The quality of food is below. Also lolly bag is very small, I feel very embarrassed when kids were crying to ask birthday bag.

My personal rating is 3.9 which is matching the current rating as at 05/07/2023. Few equipments given it’s inside the shopping centre. Anyway, nice place to let your children have some fun.

Great place for kids. I would like to leave these stars mainly for the lovely staff, Lauren who guards the pirate ship ride. She shows compassion and a lot of attention for the kids esp. Making sure all kids are secured before the ride and throughout the ride she's doing her excellent supervising with every single kids. One kid was scared of the height and cried in the middle of the ride so she slowed it down, stopped the ride and helped that kid to get off first before starting again. She also communicates well with every kid and was very friendly. This place will become our regular regardless of the distance from our home. Kids had great time

Keeps the kids busy for hours. What else could you ask for. The place is a bit old but still good enough to visit again.

Bit dark in places, and facilities are a little dated, but on the whole a successful experience. We will be back!

It's a small centre with a jungle gym for the kids to release their pent up energy. Great for younger and older kids alike. Clean facility. The Pirate Ship is a great addition, the kids love it! The Cafe has a large menu, with pleasant and helpful staff.

Attended a birthday party here today. I thought the staff did a good job in managing the party.

The pricing for general admission is a bit odd, $3.50 for adults to enter and supervise but complementary drinks provided. Lollipops Carrum Downs used to have this pricing structure and admittedly, we avoided it because of that. But they (Carrum Downs) have changed their pricing to remove a charge for adults.

Another positive is that staff were actively telling kids not to climb up the slides. There was a sign there clearly stating that.

Kids had a lot of fun. It’s a smaller indoor play ground. They have a pirate ship ride as one of there main attractions but they unfortunately only run it every 1.5-2 hours and only run it for 10 minutes.

Well I did check they website on the 01/01/23, that said it was open! Got there after a 30 minutes drive to find out they wore closed! That is not great for the company, not updating they website! Just a very disappointed daughter for sure, but let’s see they response to the situation! Well all just a update about my complaints to them! Not a response or comment about the situation we faced back then! Disappointed honestly.

I have visited this centre a couple of times over the last three years. The soft play is quite good and there are plenty of different areas for the kids to enjoy. However, there is something a bit off. The staff don’t seem to really know what they are doing, the food looks sad and there is an overall lack of care. To top it off, we waited for the lady at the front counter to stop texting to let us out.

Excellent customer service with nice, clean and tidy play centre. Highly recommended for families.

Very happy with the service. We held a charity event and the management were very accommodating - even when we ran overtime. We will remain regular customers.

Love taking my grandkid here during the week. It's lovely and quiet, the staff are friendly, there are lots of food options from snacks to coffee to cold drinks and hot food. And it's super fun to play on all the giant equipment like the slides and ballpit.

Wouldn't recommend if you have a child with special needs. Very disappointing experience. Paid $370 all up for my child's party.kids allocated 1 nugget each. Really? ! Cat came in for all of 4 minutes. I won't be back.

I went with my nephew and the place was very well maintained and clean. It was such a fun. Even the food and service was excellent too.

$3.50 per spectator adult, comes with a drink voucher. Ordered a Latte, it is actually a “babycino” size Latte. Lol.

Rude staff and cannot believe you have to pay $3.50 for an adult to enter. Other lollipops do not charge this and have much more polite staff and owners

My granddaughter had her birthday here today. The whole experience was rushed and unprofessional. Food was garbage - oval plate of chips, wedges and a few party pies and spring rolls. They were late bringing out the cake, then couldn’t cut it because it was still frozen solid. We’d had two mouthful’s and were told to leave the room for the next party. Seriously, for the exorbitant prices charged, this venue is definitely not worth it.

This place used to be nice before (under other management) Now, they don’t care about customer service. We arrived 3
Seconds before the last pirate ship and they refuse to do a last round for son to enjoy. Then, they start cleaning and they expect us to move so they can clean.they don’t understand business. Seems like a family running the business and even they have children working. Feels a little bit odd to order food to a 10-12 years old girl. Toilets very dirty and chips on the floor and they don’t clean. Even the lollipop they give at the exit seems less quality.
