Got a deadlock fitted to a steel frame garage door. I got a locksmith to do this job as I wasn't confident to do it myself also I wanted a good job done.
The deadlock was fitted well enough but the guy couldn't fit a striker plate so just drilled a hole in the steel frame which would have been ok except he drilled a 28mm hole to receive the deadlock bolt which is 20mm. This means when locked there is 8mm of a difference and the door rattles back and forth.
Two guys came out another day to rectify the problem but couldn't offer a satisfactory solution so just left the door as is.
I won't be getting them to do any jobs again in the future.

Liz (The lady behind the the counter went that one step further by modifying the locks so I only had to use one single key for all the locks.
Liz from Lockmart Mornington was absolutely fantastic and her blood is worth bottling.

Highly recommended.

Not pleased. Magnetic lock system at my office block failed and required a locksmith to ‘break in’. The bloke who came out was great and friendly.
Any contact over the phone is always the case of “I’ll take your number and ring you back” which is usually not prompt.
In all, a lot of running around and not much action. Won’t be returning as I’ve discovered other locksmiths are far more efficient.

Called around 11 am on Saturday in desperate need of a locksmith as my entry lock to my factory had failed. Called Lockhart as they came up local to my search, Mornington, and was told that all technicians were busy, but promised a call back to set up a time on the same day to have issue rectified. That never happened! I had no choice to call another locksmith. Called Nash locksmiths, spoke with Darren, in Hastings who was extremely professional and helpful. Arrived in half an hour as promised and when up and above to rectify issue. Thanks Nash locksmiths for your prompt service and professionalism.
As for Lockhart locksmiths, thanks for nothing!

Rude and unhelpful, left us waiting in rain for close to an hour only to inform they sent locksmith to wrong address and would not rectify as was too late in day. 4: 30pm.
Useless.

An amazing team who helped me when my key broke (I was house sitting at the time and a broken key isn't what anyone wants to come home to).
Not only were they happy and helpful over the phone, when I went to pick up the new key, Liz was simply gorgeous! Her bright smile lights up the world around her!

I appreciated the professional and friendly service by Sam who was sent from the Mornington office. Sam arrived on time and quickly sorted out the issue with my gate lock. Would definitely recommend Lockmart.
