Locked in Escape Rooms

I went here about a week ago with my partner for my birthday. We did the Wizard Lair escape experience. As soon as you walk in you can see it's going to be good. The waiting area is filled with games to play, coffee and water if you need a drink and we were greeted with a large smile. (Also a very inclusive environment).

Seth, our host, did a fantastic job of setting the scene and was happy to answer a few questions before we got underway.

The room itself was amazing - it was logical puzzles, everything worked seamlessly, and the two times we needed hints they were actually cryptic and fun rather than just telling us an answer. There was some handy work with the special Oracle effects too.

Getting a little token for succeeding was a fun addition we haven't seen anywhere else. We've tried a number of escape rooms before and this is definitely our favourite. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for other escape room themes here to try.

Had a wonderful experience working as a family to try and escape the Nova: Mission to Mars room. Although we were not able to compete the mission in 60 minutes, Seth our task master was kind and patient enough to take us through the two solutions we missed. He was particularly considerate of us having a younger child who was very excited to be a part of the solutions! Highly recommend.

Bought 22 Year 6 students here for an excursion. Carolyn and her team were all incredibly helpful and passionate making the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Thanks heaps!

Had a great time at LockedIn on the weekend. The game master we had was really fun and attentive and the puzzles were unique. You can tell the rooms are designed by someone who cares and not just out of a kit/box. Would definitely recommend for family groups, people who are new to escape rooms and anyone who wants to do a classic room with some unique features

So much fun! We did the Magicians Lair which was really well put together and the hour just flew by! Carolyn was a great host and kindly helped us when we misread the clues. Definitely a must and we will be back to escape from more rooms.

We completed “Finding the cure” room and it was so well put together. Firstly our host Amanda was wonderful and did have to help a little when we got all confused. The added bonus was all the Easter eggs and chocolate hidden in the room as well.
The puzzles were so well put together and probably up there as one the best escape rooms we have done.

My partner and I recently escaped from the Wizard’s Lair and we came out unable to stop talking about how brilliant the room was! We’ve done about 6 escape rooms, and this was our favourite! We can’t wait to recommend it to friends and family!
Not only is the room itself intriguing (especially to any fans of the wizarding world) but it was clear so much thought and creativity was put into all of the puzzles. Each step was themed to the room, and we couldn’t believe how magical and novel this escape experience felt.
Our games master Seth made it all the more fun and exciting with his enthusiasm. Locked In Escape Rooms was a true adventure, and made the highlight of our weekend away!

Very enjoyable design on their escape room. Partner and I did the missing horror escape room and found it very enjoyable with the puzzles feeling rewarding to complete. I find that escape room staff members are usually very dedicated to their showmanship and craft, this place is no exception! Will return sometime to complete the other rooms!

Came in to complete the Cure room and absolutely loved seeing the creativity in all the props. Each puzzle was so intriguing to solve and just great to observe. Definitely a great experience and highly recommended.

I went here yesterday with 3 of my friends and can honestly say it was the best experience we had ever had for an escape room. We were met with a friendly smile and felt welcomed instantly. We were taken upstairs to watch a video on the rules and found this to be very helpful. Carolyn was very friendly and personable and instantly was setting the scene and making the experience very immersive. She had us laughing and even won victory chuppa chups. Carolyn was very informative on what to expect with our experience and after a bad experience at TRAPT escape rooms, we are very excited Locked In is around the corner for us. As they say, support local businesses and we will definitely be back! Definitely recommend this place and will share with our friends. Our booking was under Lachlan

We had so much fun! Amber made the experience really easy and enjoyable. The whole thing was really well set up and interactive. We can’t wait to do another one! Highly recommend

Amazingly thought out scenarios, not been to many escape rooms but this is by far the best… shout out to game master Angus who was professional and just super cool

Absolutely blown away by the the professionalism of the team and the detail and presentation of the room we played.

I especially want to give a shout to our game master, Seth, who was able to keep us focused and on track, without too many clues, the perfect balance.

Brilliant! We had a great time at our first escape room experience. The Mars scenario is really well thought out and Caillin was an excellent host.

Room well designed.staff member following on camera throughout so offer timely clues and pick up any equipment issues immediately.will go back to try other rooms

One of the coolest experiences I’ve had! Super friendly staff (Carolyn, Caillin and Caity who were there were absolutely lovely) and the room was so cool!

We had a fantastic time doing the Wizard’s Lair escape room. Our game master Caillin was wonderful and really helped in setting the mood of the game. It was lots of fun and the puzzles were tricky enough to make us all think but still very entertaining. I would recommend this place highly - it was the best escape room we’ve ever done (and we’ve done a few!)

My partner and I have been to many escapes rooms around Melbourne so when we went down to the Peninsula, we had to check this place out.

We did the Blackout room and it was one of the better, more challenging rooms we’ve done with a good amount of puzzles to complete. We loved how each puzzle very clearly lead to another and we weren’t just scrambling around the room figuring out what to do next.

Our game master Caitlin was fantastic! She ran us through the storyline and kept an eye on us while in the room and gave us hints when we were stuck.

We loved the room so much that after we were done, we even asked if we could book another one. However, it was fully booked for the day (I can see why).

We are so excited to come back to do the rest of the rooms! Thanks for an awesome experience guys

Such a great escape room experience! The Wizards Lair had a great magical vibe and my party of 6 had fun looking around and interacting with all the entertaining and whimsical puzzles! Will definitely think of returning next time we're in the area.
