Can’t recommend this place enough! Came in today to build a board for my 6 year old son and was told a complete board would be more than suitable for him, much to my surprise given this was the cheaper option. No attempt at upselling, no pushy tactics, just genuine care and advice. My son is thrilled with his new board and we will definitely be coming back for all our skateboarding needs.

The Locality Store is your one stop independent shop for skateboards, clothing, music and general good times. Cam Baines who owns and operates the store is generous with his time, advice and insights. Shop is well stocked and organised. Daughter is happy with the kids skateboard we picked up and glad we made the 1,800km return trip from Sydney to collect in person. Well worth popping in to say hello and check out the great range. Support your independent and chat to people that are happy to make sure you are happy!

Loved the place got a nice tee and shorts and they gave me customer service that should be the new standard they loved how I customised my new shoes they were chatting with me and all around the best store I’ve been to and it’s refreshing to get real service not corporate pushing

Really good range and friendly helpful staff. Stocks a good range of shoes, t-shirts, hoodie's, protective gear, skateboards and accessories. Guy who helped me (James) was very friendly and knowledgeable. Really nice to visit a skate store with an old school vibe.

Awesome experience shopping here to buy a skateboard for my 8 year old daughter. The guys explained everything and took their time to run through the options, ongoing maintenance, and even where to organise some lessons for my daughter.
I’m so glad I went to a specialist shop and I’ll be back there for future purchases for sure.

First time I've ever built my own board and with help from the good blokes over email, I managed to order the correct parts and assemble it! Super fast shipping, super fast email service, super chilled out and nice dudes. Love my new setup and can't wait to skate it, will definitely be shopping with the Locality Store again in the future

Nicest store owners and employees ive ever met, they've always helped me when I've asked for advice or to borrow a skate tool. Wonderful people that seem to enjoy their job.

Unfortunately the wheels i ordered were out of stock (website was showing them in stock when they didn't have any), Had Cam TEXT ME, not email sending me photos of other types of wheels in the same as what i wanted, and he gave honest opinions on what i ended up picking. This place is fantastic. Great local skate shop. It stocks all the brands that i want and the old guy behind the jump even started singing a Hall & Oates love song while i was there. In key!
