Lovely waves and beautiful beach to walk on. The beach access closest to the rock is open albeit the last step is a bit of a jump. The other access to the west was closed for repairs.

Easier to access than Dragon’s Head regardless of the tide! If you look closer there’s some cool tiny blue shells on the rock

Great place for a leisurely stroll along the beach, and to see some of the small points of interest in the area. Nice place for more quiet surfing, although some rocks to be wary of. Some iconic photo opportunities in the area not far from Lizard Head rock. Car park is quite small and it can get very busy.

Beautiful beach.please respect the dune environment.plovers breed here, keep to the paths and don't trample the vegetation.

Right around the corner from the Dragon’s Head. Plenty of interesting limestone erosion as the rock collapses into boulders over eons. Lizard Head Rock itself is literally dissolving

Climb the dunes up to the clifftop for excellent, sweeping views all the way to Cape Schanck Lighthouse. Great at low tide, the rock shelf is exposed revealing a blanket of vivid green weed.

One star off for car park, needs grading or paving asap.

This place is perfect for people that likes to do surfing. The waves are very strong here. This lizard Head rock formation is amazing. You just have to find a right angled to get that million photo shot. Only one hour and 30 minutes away from Melbourne. Just car park is a bit hard to find during busy times.

Lizard head rock - just next to No 16 beach Rye. If you like you can continue along the beach to Orr point, and if the tide is out, you can keep going and link up to the long Dundas st path, which goes to St Andrews Beach. Fantastic scenery as is typical for this part of the world.
