Living Music Greensborough reviews
33Living music at Greensborough is a wonderful place for any music enthusiasts as they offer cheap and affordable not only instruments but music lessons too! With skilled and professional trainers to bring out the true musical genius within
Chris is absolutely fantastic. I am a beginner and she made me feel super comfortable. Will be coming back here.
Honestly just the most helpful & amazing staff.
They are an absolute pleasure to talk to & they really do know their stuff. I'm very new to guitar and the staff members that I have talked to have always gone above and beyond.
What lovely, helpful staff especially Chris!
She not only fixed my sons guitar she didn’t even charge me and went out of her way to give great customer service not only once on several occasions!
Thanks Chris
Unprofessional, poor customer service and lots of offloads. Bottom of the market. Buyer Beware. Most of the synth/keyboards are faulty.
I like to thank Andrew for a great service help me out with issues on my pedal and cable I personally recommend going to see Andrew expert knowledge thank you!
Living music Greensborough is an awesome shop 4 guitars cheap and expensive great brands and really really friendly staff and helpful I'm about to buy another guitar when they open after they reopen and always get a great discount thanks to living music they keep me going
Great place that cares about the health and safety of its staff, customers and ultimately the community. Has adopted and practices excellent COVIDSafe practices. Keep up the good work.
Upon entering the store, I was asked to put on a face mask. I stated that I have a medical exemption but was still refused service. I was very disappointed & truly felt discriminated against. I always support local business but it seems the government will stop at nothing until they have destroyed all the small family run businesses that operate with threats hanging over their heads every single day. The government want you isolated & shopping online it seems.
It took communicating my disappointment to come to an understanding that this is just another small business struggling to survive in these ‘mandated’ times. They have been really lovely and accommodating & have welcomed me back into their store maskless. I assume they now take the stance that if you are not wearing a mask, you must have good reason not to be. Will definitely be returning to their store soon! Thank you for taking the time to work through this issue together. After all, we must stand united cos that pesky government is doing nothing but trying to bury you.
Got my guitar serviced here - I'll be back for sure! Old girl has never played better and actually makes an old hack sound half decent
I have been doing weekly guitar lessons here for about 7 years now and I couldn't ask for a better experience. My guitar teacher Adrian is fantastic and very knowledgeable, he has made lessons something I look forward to every week. The shop itself has everything an intermediate guitar player like myself could ask for and always does a phenomenal job servicing my instruments. I couldn't recommend Living music more for both lessons and instrument shopping/repairs!
Shop is well laid out, I don't know to much about instruments but i could still find what i was thinking of. Staff were very friendly, and when i asked for help they were very helpful.all their advice matched the research i had done before hand.
Awesome store. Awesome staff. Shout out to Robyn who set my guitar up perfectly, appreciate your help and customer service. Kudos
Rick and the crew at Greensborough are very friendly, helpful and nice people. Not to mention experienced and full of knowledge. I always enjoy going in there and the choice of guitars and guitar related products are great. They treat you with tlc. Keep up the good work.
See you soon btw, I'm looking for another guitar.
Been here twice and the staff are just amazing. Super friendly people, the instrument quality is spectacular and there are so many different varieties to choose from. If you want to become a professional musician and play multiple quality instruments, I would suggest going here. Believe me, it's definitely worth it.
Extremely helpful, knowledgable & friendly staff. I had an issue with my speaker after I bought the wrong cable, a staff member fiddled with my equipment & their cords/adapters to find the issue and supplied me with the correct adapter.
I ordered a guitar to be sent to my son as a birthday present. Then asked if a note could be written to go with guitar to say it was from Mum and dad.the staff made up a birthday card and threw in some free picks. The guitar arrived in Hobart the next morning. Cannot fault the service.and the birthday boy is very happy. Thank you!
Everything is just too expensive and overpriced when I can find the same brand and equipment cheaper online.
Recently had new pickups installed in my Strat and had the guitar back within the week. Sounds brilliant. Then decided to purchase a new case online and it was ready for pickup next day. Great service. From having guitar lessons there in '84 to still buying strings etc. 35 years later. Always great to deal with.
I just saw that I can write a review. So here it is:
I remember when Main St Music opened in the early 80's. I was a frequent customer. Then the shop became a Billy Hyde store somewhere around 2000 and the quality of service declined pretty dramatically. But now (since Rick and the guys have taken) over the service is great again.
In the past few years I've bought a few instruments (mandolin, a uke for a friend and an acoustic guitar) as well as all my strings and odds & ends. Admittedly, I'd like them to get more and diverse bass gear but that's just my personal bias.
