The family and I stopped by yesterday. First we went for a look around the old homestead and then did a guided tourer of living legends. Great interaction with the horses and great to see their racing history. Great down out for the family. Well done guys

Luke was an excellent tour guide with lots of information on these former champions. It was lovely to see them so loved and living the good life! The old homestead is of great interest in itself and also serves up a great coffee in beautiful surroundings!

What an experience! The staff and vet students took us on a lovely tour of the paddocks, with lots of carrots for us to feed the horses and get those perfect photos. Afterwards we got the Devonshire tea that came with 2 scones and coffee/tea which was amazing (and $10 only!) - I booked through their website in advance.

Beautiful afternoon spent with my 10 year old daughter. We did the tour via buggy and the guide was knowledgeable and you could tell she loves her job and working with the horses. The horses were amazing and all had their own unique personalities. My daughter and I both enjoyed feeding these amazing animals. The grounds are beautiful, lovely rose garden and huge trees near the homestead. Homestead has many rooms with lots of historical information about the homestead, original owners and horse memorabilia. Cafe was great lovely hot chocolate and the Devonshire tea was beautiful with scones made by the lovely lady that served us. Seating available outside on the wrap around verandah or inside the charming homestead. All staff were warm and friendly and we will definitely be back to visit again. The tour that runs for an hour and the cafe prices were very reasonable. All in all a great afternoon out, Thank you!

Went on Oct 1st 2023
-4 - paid for guided tour. Instance 1
Buggy operator made extra spaces for locals and asked us to walk behind. Few passengers left mid journey but buggy drivers still asked to walk behind. Started talking tour before I arrived. Ignored upon enquiry.
Instance 2
Went to enquire about guided tour at the Cafe counter. Lady started yelling that she needs to take a count and all before even listening to my question. I was trying to tell her I already booked for tour while dining at Cafe: (
Another assumed local came after me with same question, and she was suddenly calm.
+1 feeding horses is fun. If ones lucky and the buggy operator doesn't assume you as immigrant, one may get to have some carrots to feed horses while on tour.

A lovely place for retired race horses to live till the end of their lives. Need to be into racing or horses to get much out of it, but as part of the whole park and homestead/ cafe experience it's a nice side line. Nb dogs not allowed near the horses.

I love this place. It's 20 minutes from the city and 5 mins from the airport, the english breakfast tea and scone are my favourite. There is a lot to there. You can go for a bush walk a lot of wildlife and, of course, the race horses. Go check it out for yourself.

A friend and I visited for a few hours before I dropped her off at the airport. We loved the whole experience! Lovely old homestead with log fire, great coffee and delicious scones (including a gluten free option, fantastic for coeliacs like me!). The horses were beautiful, their paddocks are an oasis away from busy roads and the airport. And so many kangaroos! The cafe and Legends staff were very friendly and helpful. A great day out, thank you

Great views of the aircraft landing in Melbourne, just take an aviation radio along and grab a seat in the carpark. The coffee is good, these guys do a great job taking care of these horses. Pay them a visit, do your bit to help out.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff for the guided tour. Horses are beautiful. What surprises us was a herd of wild kangaroos jumping nearby as well!

This place is incredible and the horses are gorgeous. Went here to visit the one and only Apache cat and having thoroughbreds myself, I can vouch that these horses are living the dream. Staff were so lovely also. 11/10
