Live For Art

Attended a paint and sip class with friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. With no painting experience I managed to create two pieces of art that I have proudly showed off. Definitely going back to learn more skills and have fun at the same time. Thanks Julie.

A group of us did a private class with Julie and it was hands down one of the best things we've done in a long time. Julie is incredibly knowledgeable and great at providing information in a way that is clear and easily understandable and creates a fun atmosphere. I can not recommend her highly enough. If you're considering doing a class do yourself a favour and book it. You won't regret it!

Great experience and good fun for all. I will be back and can recommend it to others at all levels from beginners to advanced as there is something for everyone.

For some time we have been wanting to delve into the world of Acrylic Pouring (or Fluid Art) and finally decided that we would take some lessons. Live For Art is a great place to start! Julie who runs the classes was very helpful in guiding us through all the techniques. So far we have learned the 'swipe', 'ring pour' and 'cells with silicone oil' techniques and loved each method so much that we decided to come back for another class where we learned the 'bloom' technique.

Julie was very patient in demonstrating and guiding us through each technique,   giving us time to explore each method thoroughly. We didn't feel rushed at all and Julie was happy to answer all our questions along the way.

We have learned so much already and now feel like we have enough knowledge to begin our own fluid art pours at home. Through all we have learned we are confident in building our skills to continue this wonderfully satisfying art. We definitely want to return for more classes to refine our skills. Next we would like to learn about resin coating our work, which will teach us how to finish our art so it's ready to hang. Learning all the processes from start to finish will be very helpful. Whether you have experience in fluid art or are new to the art, Live For Art is the perfect place to develop your skills. We look forward to visiting Live For Art again soon!

I’ve had the pleasure of attending a ‘Dutch Pour’ class with Julie! It was informative, fun and we all made a great creation under Julie’s helpful eye.

I now have the knowledge the practice at home with supplies sitting there unused for a while!

I hope to return soon to be guided on another technique - just got to decide which one!
