Little Vietnam 504 reviews
41The best Vietnamese food you can find in the whole of Melbourne! Fantastic staff, Fantastic food! Value for money! My family and I have never been disappointed whether it be for take away to eat at home or whilst eating in the venue! Do yourself a favour and support Little Vietnam 504 - Dumplings and Dim Sim are a personal fave and the fried rice is delicious!
The best Vietnamese experience/ meal I’ve had since being in Vietnam.
When we walked in, we were greeted with the most friendly staff who delivered the best service possible for the whole time.
The menu was wide range of fresh Vietnamese meals.
The food was so fresh and so delicious. The best Vietnamese I’ve had since being in Vietnam.
The service was the best, staff went above and beyond to cater for what we wanted on the menu.
Will definitely be returning & recommending to my family and friends.
Possibly the best Vietnamese food I've had:) awesome selection for vegetarians and the rice paper rolls are epic. The service is super smooth and friendly also
Was by chance we found this Restaurant to celebrate wifes Birthday. Great friendly service even better food and super healthy!
Would recommend and will be back.
So glad I came here. The food is so fresh and the staff made us feel right at home. The Pho took me right back to Vietnam.
As another review mentioned this place is no frills but it made the meal all the more enjoyable. Would 100% recommend!
Came here for the first time for my anniversary with my bf. The staff was amazing, the food was fresh and it made me feel like I was transported to another place.for those with dietary restrictions like myself; they are more than willing to cater and even volunteer suggestions as to what they would eat gluten-free. We will definitely be coming here again
Most beautiful family run business - with incredible service and the best home-cooked traditional food!
This is a terrific little find. The papaya salad is just like sitting in a street cafe in Saigon near the Ben Thanh Market, the pancake with pork and prawn reminds one of grabbing a bite in the hustle and bustle at the top end of Hoàn Kiếm Lake in Hanoi, and that's just the start. Fresh, flavour filled, and fabulous. So so good, so get yourself down to Little Vietnam 504!
Very disappointed. Average starters and mains, with one main in particular standing out as the worst main course I've ever had (not a fussy eater). $19 for half a portion of rice and half a portion of pork stirfry that tasted like it had been cooked in tomato ketchup. The fact that the main course includes the rice in half of the takeaway dish is bad enough but to serve something tasting like our main did is just insulting to customers and Vietnamese cuisine. Won't be back.
Vietnam 501 is a family favourite. A no frills, down to earth, all about family and food eatery. The moment you walk in the door you are warmly welcomed, new or a regular.
The ambience is not one of a 5 star restaurant. It’s a bit tight for space and at times noisy, but that’s true of restaurants in Vietnam. It’s a good sign as you quickly get a sense of people connecting and feeling of ease.
Then menu is focused on wholesome good full of flavour food. Meals can arrive at different times, so meals do not sit at the pass. A small sacrifice, as redemption comes by way of the final outcome of enjoying every mouthful and the “mmmmmmmmmm” moments that follow.
Bookings are essential as the secret got out and 501 is a Hampton favourite. The dishes are well priced and the staff are very helpful and adaptive to any culinary needs.
Always fantastic food and service. Very lucky to have such a wonderful, value for money restaurant in Hampton.
Such a great vibe at this little family run restaurant. Great food too, savoury pancakes a must!
Booked a table, only to find it was right by the door with draft and people whirring by. Very disappointed!
The pho is absolutely amazing and is a definite recommend. Staff are also very attentive and extremely hospitable so the restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. Would recommend for anyone looking for something to eat on Hampton St!
Too slow. Wait almost 1hr for food.and little expensive for what we get. Food just normal not deserve the price. Don't think will come back again
Loved the food. The Vietnamese pancake was very tasty. The service was friendly. Great local restaurant.
The food is amazing - especially the fried rice which is delicious by itself, but I rolled some up in a lettuce leaf and WOW!
I can't wait to get more!
Truely excellent food and the service was outstanding. The lady helped us pick the right meals and even showed us how to eat the pancake, which was out of this world BTW, the traditional way. Definitely going back.
Very accommodating for families with younger kids, staff very welcoming and friendly. Good buzz. Food was served quickly & was very tasty.
Fantastic fresh food. Always something interesting to try on the menu. Service very attentive even on busy Saturday night.
