Little Rascals Play Centre reviews
31 Lynda and her team do a great job! The space is clean, the staff are friendly and the coffee is delicious. My kids love exploring here and I often meet friendly local mums who are happy to have a chat. It’s such a fantastic space and one of my favourite playcentres. It can get busy on a rainy day so come early before the crowds arrive!
My only observation, which is no fault of Little Rascals, is that many parents choose to sit on the couches in the middle of the centre and don’t supervise their kids, especially if their kids are 3+ years old. It makes spaces like the jumping castle in the corner a bit risky as there’s often a bit of rough play that occurs and little kids are pushed around by some of the unsupervised older kids.
I understand that a condition of entry would be that kids are supervised at all times and it can be hard to enforce this, especially when it is busy.
We sometimes come here on a rainy day and it's cheerful, comfortable and has good coffee! Unlike bigger play centres there are plenty of couches for parents to sit, and you don't have to spend the whole visit chasing children as you can see them from everywhere. It's only really suitable for pre schoolers, but for them it is perfect!
We also recently held my daughter's third birthday party here, and it was marvellous. We chose the package party which included fairly standard children's party catering, and we ran a coffee tab for parents. It was substantially cheaper than my son's party at a popular chain play centre, and our group were the only ones there!
Love this place! Basically lived here with my first (now 7). Now coming back with my 10 month old. Awesome coffee, lovely accomodating staff, and most importantly CLEAN toys and equipment! Oh- and super comfy couches
When you catch the bus to the playcentre and you pick up a few bits whilst waiting for the bus and put it in your hand bag as your car has broken down.
My 3 year old toddler than ate a strawberry out of my bag whilst in the play centre and i get told off for bringing food in and not thinking of others with allergies. Im Sorry this is too much we will not be returning. I understand a full on picnic but a strawberry!
Great array of climbing activities for toddlers. Easy 2 hours spent here. Coffee way too hot and therefore tasteless and you can't bring food in which makes it difficult for those on restricted diets, so we had to feed little one in car with his food. Reason given was supposedly allergies of others, however with the amount of coffee cups and purchased food sitting around on low tables there are plenty of safety risks if you don't supervise your own child.
Wonderful play-centre for under five year olds. The staff are so lovely and they have great coffee and yummy fresh food.
Nice place, good for littlies, my girl is 2 years old now, we have been coming for the last 6 months and there's plenty for her to do. Admission is cheap and they have a good menu with a mix of healthy and and the usual kids centre fried options, they also have vegetarian and vegan options which is cool.
Down side is most of the toys that need batteries (which are a fair few) never seem to have working batteries. Apart from that I'd reccomend coming in:)
One of those play centres you can keep going back to again and again! Lovely staff, plenty of seats, clean facilities (with stool for toddlers in the toilet). Food is great - comes out quickly and there's a cute kids menu.
Love it!
Great play centre and cafe! Play centre is smaller than others I've been to which works really well for littlies who don't want to go far from Mummy. I was able to enjoy a delicious coffee while my boys actually entertained themselves! Highly recommended for young children, old kids might prefer a play centre with larger equipment
Little Rascals was a lovely to have for Chilren Very clean Girls were nice behind the counterOur Childrens party went off well
This is such a fun and cosy place! Mom and dad were able to chill on a comfortable couch with food and coffee while the little one had the time of her life. And for such a reasonable price too!
The staff were friendly and kind. They took a family pic for us and as it was our daughter's birthday, they surprised us with a little gift for her (even though we hadn't booked a party or anything).
Will definitely go back!
On the small side, good for kids 4 and under. It's clean, has good food and coffee and is fairly well priced.
Love the concept of this play centre. I felt like I was sitting in a welcoming large lounge. Plush couches, plenty of activities for ages from young bub to probably 5yo.
Food and menu are better than most places.
The two women who were serving were absolutely lovely.
Only suggestion, fruit and Arnott's biscuits (like at hotels) on the menu.
Very strict rules with bringing in food which is fine. But sometimes the little ones just want something small like banana or a biscuit.
I can't wait to go back. Thoroughly enjoyed it and so did my 18mth old son.
Love this play centre! It's always super clean and the staff are really lovely too. I think it's best suited for children under 7-8ish
Once of the best play centres I've been to. Plenty of couches for mums to relax and chat in, and so many toys and space for the kids to play in. It's also easy to see from one end of the centre to the other, so easy to keep an eye on the kids.
I hired little rascals out for my daughter 1st birthday. Everyone had such a good time. The kid loves it. Staff are friendly and so helpfully. Anyone looking for somewhere to have a kids party or just to have a play date check this place out
Normally a great place. But today they just didn't open, we (& other ppl) waited 20 mins but ended up driving away, and so did most people
Great place for the little ones. Couchs to relax on and watch the kids and well priced. Aircon on hot days.
Great play space. Food is very average, not health for kids and you cannot take your own. Eat before you go.
Lovely, safe and clean facility. Would be nice if staff periodically walked through and tidied the toys a bit as parents dont seem to tidy after their kid has thrown all the duplo out onto the floor.
