Little Prince Wine

We had a great afternoon of selected wines and cheeses at Little Prince. This place is a gem and serves as a magnet for those that just want something with a little more sophisticated vibe. Love the background jazz soundtrack, played at a volume that allows conversation unlike competing venues where one gets the impression that the too loud music is selected by and for the staff. It goes without saying that the wine selection is first rate with many hard to find varietals among local favourites and the cheeses were delicious. We like all the experiences offered at the Prince for different reasons but Little Prince and its private relaxed feel is a carefully cultivated and curated space by people that really understand hospitality in a contemporary Melbourne setting. Well done, we'll be back.

Such a shame that this gorgeous little place is run by rude and indifferent staff. We were spoken to rudely, and basically waved through to the main bar (which does not have the same atmosphere and also doesn’t have the same wines by the glass displayed in the wine bar) and told to order there and sit out the front on the pub tables. Go if you have a thick skin and don’t mind feeling like you’re getting in the way

We had a really enjoyable time attending one of the wine maker events. The wine was phenomenal, a great evening and very well priced with dinner.

If you trust the lovely staff they will use their fantastic knowledge to serve you some truly beautiful wines.
The charcuterie board / cheese plates can be matched to your wines or made to your preference.

Thank you for sorting bubbles, cheese and salami on my special day! Very happy and we did enjoy the food and the bubbles very much - absolutely delicious produce! Will see you again soon and often!

Ordered two antipasto boxes for delivery as a gift and it was sent as one item, essentially doubling the amount rather than delivering two boxes. Since they were sent as a gift it was an awkward task having to separate each item. Raised this via email and still not received an appropriate response or apology which is incredibly rude. A waste of money and the feedback was the food wasn’t that great either.

Sat in with some friends; selected a wine from the cellar, nice setting, we didnt enjoy the specific wine.paid & left without thinking; on realising what I'd actually paid.they've charged $40 corkage? Effectively a sub par bottle of wine for $130 +. The staff member working insisted she told us? Either way $40 corkage? Wrap that up

Love this place! Since it has been done up I can't get enough of the place. The food is Greta the wine selection is fantastic and the staff are amazing.

The staff are great here only had the antipasto dish.could use some cheese haha but the rest was delightful but honestly the service was amazing

They call themselves a wine bar but don’t have Chardonnay by the glass! Your not a wine bar then and I will not be back

Little Prince wine is one of my favourite Melbourne Venue ever. DivIne food & drinks and the service is absolutely impeccable. The staff definitely know what they doing. Really nice, friendly and professional. Never disappoints, that’s why we go back again and again

A little gem on the right side of Acland Street. Incredible selection of wines and champagne- cheeses to die for! - knowledgeable staff, always happy to suggest new and unexplored grapes. Did I mention super stylish too? ! Thanks guys
