Little Michael's Pizzeria

This local pizzeria was a life saver to me during the pandemic. Excellent pizza and great staff. Fast forward today, I went over and ordered takeaway, while the staff are super nice, albeit a bit harried, the manager (or maybe the new owner) kept shouting and berating those around her. It was an open kitchen and everyone could hear the nagging. Just awkward! I think it’s just bad business when you show this side of management style to your customers. I’m sure everyone is doing their best to run the place, but man, that’s just bad juju.pizza was ok, but definitely not the same par as last time.

Business has been bought out. Another business under new Chinese management. Not sure what the deal is but there's so many of these small hospitality businesses getting bought by Chinese, maybe money laundering?

Anyway, pizza definitely wasn't on par from what I'd had in past from little Michaels. Time to find a new pizza joint

Nice pizza, great service. Mozzarella pizza with buffalo cheese is highly recommended, authentic Italian taste.

Amazing place, pizza Napoletana style, best pizza in the area by far - great flavour and excellent quality. 100% will come back.

First time customer. I ordered a Margarita Classic takeaway.
The pizza was undercooked.
The middle was soggy so stuck to the bottom of the pizza box.
The crust was too thin which may have contributed to a poor pizza experience.
For $20, I expected a better than average pizza experience.

We regularly get takeaway pizzas from here and it never disappoints. The pizza bases are thin, crispy, they have the perfect doughy consistency and the toppings are delicious. Tonight we ordered the margarita and the truffle pizza, I stuffed myself with the truffle pizza and was in a food coma afterwards and have no regrets, so worth it! Will have to try their donuts next time if I still have room!

Hands down the best pizza in Melbourne. Authentic Italian. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. They play some really good music too!

The BEST pizzas I've ever had, hands down!
I've had pizza from all over the world and I can confidently say Little Michaels has perfected this art. The ingredients are pure and top quality. The utmost care and effort is put into every pizza that goes into that woodfire oven.
As a side note, Michael treats all of his customers like family and provides such a warm and comforting experience if you decide to dine in.
If you have a sweet-tooth, the Nutella donuts are to-die-for.

Absolutely delicious authentic Italian pizzas. Extremely friendly and humble owner and service staff too. Fluffy thin crusted pizzas with fresh ingredients. And oh don’t get me started on their doughnuts. Simple yet so comforting to the soul. Truly a neighbourhood gem and one of the best pizzerias around Melbourne!

This is a great place to eat. Pizza is 10/10 and donuts are even better! Waiters are quick to take our order and food came out within 5-10mins. Always love coming to this pizzeria

I really love this place. Only had takeaways but pizzas are fantastic, service is absolutely superb, always a dance, music or jig going on when I walk in. Food is great, service is perfect and always recommended.

Feeling revolted is an understatement! I witnessed ants as massive as the size of the owner's tooth gap, feasting upon tiny pieces of food nearby the kitchen. Completely unsanitary, does not use gloves nor a mask, and definitely has anger issues. I researched this pizza place in 'The Mentor' show and, as a psychologist, it was evident that he may have Dissociative Identity Disorder. He constantly swears like as if he hasn't taken his medication in 10 years. You can almost hear his swearing all the way in Africa! Crazy. The second time I came to the pizzeria, I witnessed verbal abuse and dangerous behaviour in the kitchen. Would absolutely NOT recommend.

I am appalled.
We recently started to dine into this Pizzeria. First of all the workers do not wear gloves or masks considering the global pandemic, this is crazy and such a risk to all customers.
Secondly, the owner has given us attitude countless of times and seem to always be on the edge. I am a strong believer that feuds, and rude behavior can severely effect the food. No matter how good the pizza is this type of behavior if just unacceptable.
This is not a one time thing and you have lost a customer.

Never fails to disappoint and exceed expectations. The atmosphere, prices, service and quality is phenomenal. We used to be locals, but have moved 40 minutes away, yet still travel to Little Michael's as it is, by far, the best pizza we have ever had in Melbourne. I'm already dying to go back.

Delicious pizza! The crust is amazing and they have quite a large variety of toppings. The pizza could be a bit better sliced as we had to re cut it but apart from that I definitely recommend it!

Easy parking, clean and modern dinning area, great positive staff and very accommodating to our young kids.

The pizza was absolutely delicious with mouth watering dough. The owner Michael has perfected his pizza's and has honestly made something special.

The energy of the place instantly fills you as you enter the restaurant and when you get a whiff of the pizza cooking you know this place is legit.

I went with a few friends and we ordered various pizzas that had chilli on them, Michael asked us how hot we wanted it, which was great.

Pizza = delicious
Dough = amazing
Price = perfect
Doughnuts = fantastic
Staff = helpful and friendly

Could not fault this place, highly recommend it!
