Little Lucky Cafe reviews
49 Just went here for breakfast and the way the chef spoke to all the young staff was absolutely appalling. We were disgusted. Treat your staff better. They were the only part of your cafe that was nice. Our breakfast was stone cold, bacon was not cooked and my husbands meal didn’t arrive until I had finished mine.
There were also lipstick marks all over our water glasses. Won’t be going back
Cozy and welcoming vibe. Lots of choices. The poached eggs and smoked salmon on sourdough bread was excellent. Definitely worth checking out for brunch.
Loved the atmosphere, but straight up, have to say we were so disappointed in the coffee! We ordered large cups, one extra strong and what we got was stone cold and average. It was a shame, as the food offerings were interesting and when they came, we were pleasantly surprised at just how nice they were. The service was a little hit and miss, but we will return for another try.
Coffee is beautiful & food always very nice. Disappointed in the change of decor recently. It has lost its charm & is cold when sitting in there with the front door open in winter. Miss seeing the fires going like they used to on a cold winters day.
The coffee cups were difficult to hold, and a waiter spilled the coffee on us as it was delivered& didn't seem to notice (or at least didn't say anything). However the coffee was quite good. The dishes were all very nice, we ordered the Lamb Sanga with chips, Veggie Breakfast, and Bruschetta. The bruschetta was incredibly nice, and worth the cost. The veggie breakfast was not delivered with the correct type of eggs (ordered over easy but got poached) but was overall quite decent if not overpriced for the size of it. The lamb sanga was also lovely and worth the price, however there could have been more chips, for the extra price of $4 there were perhaps 25 thin chips that came with the meal. We were delivered the wrong order before getting the mistake corrected. We requested an extra piece of toast and waited 10 minutes for the regular sized piece of toast which cost $7. Which is incredibly overpriced for a slice of toast, I could buy 2 loaves of bread for that price. The cutlery & tables were not entirely clean, which was a small inconvenience. Overall we are satisfied with the experience and would go back if it's the only cafe around.
Fabulous cafe in Bacchus Marsh. Great coffee and scrumptious food offerings. My fav is the big breakfast.
The food was yummy and the service was great! I want to give a shout-out to Cindy who was so lovely! She gave us some history and fun facts on the dishes.
In a place where there is not much to offer in terms of coffee and the cafe experience, this neat little place really hit the spot. Edgy and cool this place is set off a busy intersection. Friendly barista and waitress and a coffee as good as you will get anywhere made my experience here.
We came here for breakfast, they took the order after we waited for 20 min. We waited for an hour 20min after giving the order and checked what’s the status as it’s already almost lunch time by then only to know that our order didn’t go through the kitchen and some how missed.
We might have super powers with invisibility because we have been sitting there right next to the window for almost two hours without our food served and it was not that big place.
Never again to this place.
Beautiful local cafe with delicious food. Cozy atmosphere and the staff is so welcoming and friendly!
While the food and coffee is nice, this Saturday morning experience wasn't a good one sadly.
Service (while lovely people) was slow and unorganised, took about 30 minutes before we ordered food, and never got a top up of water that we asked for.
Sat outside due to the weather being beautiful, however the experience dampened by constant trucks passing, limiting almost any conversation. Location is rough for outside seating. Go inside.
Very busy however atmosphere is very good. We ate breakfast and food was okay, big servings. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and although they ran out of some ingredients, they did not charge us. Suggest for a Sunday you get there early. Outside seating can be in the sun
Takes some real skill to downsize the vegan breakfast and charge the same amount. Well done! Do you really think this is worth 25 dollars?
Cutest cafe ever! I absolutely love the vibe, love the type of music you play! Awesome food could not fault this place one little bit!
Quirky little cafe with good food and service. Also a great drink range. I enjoyed my Specialty Latte. Definitely worth a visit for a delicious breakfast.
Great little spot for a quick lunch. Our server was amazing. The kitchen staff did their best to accommodate our preferences. Lovely little courtyard and a real eclectic vibe.
Arriving into Geelong on Spirit of TAS II
Decided to go through Bacchus marsh and stop here for breakfast and coffee
The two stars is for the coffee which was good. No stars for breakfast - I had eggs Benedict with bacon on sourdough toast.
Burnt over cooked with rind on bacon overcooked poached eggs and hollandaise from a jar - yuck!
My friend had “buttermilk” pancakes with the fruit the pancakes by her account cold and had a very strange taste perhaps flour used or they were old not freshly cooked pancake?
The staff seemed like we were an inconvenience especially the cook who dumped our food on table.
Anyway safe to say we won’t be recommending this place for a stop over on way to boat or coming off the boat.
It's hipster cool but the road noise makes it hard to hear and takes away the vibes. Not alot of seating. The hot chocolate was scalding hot and quite bitter. The food was good
I wouldn't be in a rush to go back.
Perfect cup of coffee (lots flavour, nice temperature (erring on hot side - not warm side -, not milky). Very efficient service. I've had two hot meals there recently - both of which were actually nice and hot. Fresh ingredients, delicious. Quirky and interesting cafe - highly recommend
I had the Thai beef bowl. Beautifully fresh and light, with all the flavours of Thai. The perfect lunch. Quick delivery too.
