Little Flyers - Kids on Collins

For the past 6 years we have been a part of the Kids on Collins family. Its a community of families from all over Melbourne that come together with the guidance and expertise of the carers and staff.
They have all been amazing from day 1, taking wonderful care of our 2 girls but also guiding them, nurturing them and educating them along the way.
Our daughter is thriving in school this year because of the amazing start she had as a result of completing her 3 & 4 year Kinder program at Kids on Collins.
Its been a tough couple of years for us all but the communication, empathy and care that the Kids on Collins staff and carers have shown throughout has been second to none.
I was so sad to say goodbye last week as we move on due only to current proximity for us and our girls growing up. But I will honestly never forget the kindness and care shown to our family by the carers and staff at Kids on Collins.

My daughter just finished kinder here and this childcare exceeded all our expectations in every way. It is run by the ever professional and communicative Jennifer Farrell. Her kinder teachers, Karen & Jodie have to be the best in Melbourne. They genuinely love their job and are so engaged with the kids. If you want a kinder or childcare conveniently located in the CBD that actually cares about you and your family this is the place!

This was my 2 year old daughter's first day care in Australia, and we were very lucky to find a place that welcomed us with open arms and made all of us feel comfortable right away. The educators are all lovely, super friendly and took such good care of my daughter. We truly saw her grow and blossom once she had started at Kids On Collins. If you are looking for something in the CBD, then this is the place.

My son has been to the Centre for 5 years, 5 days a week and and trust me or not, It is worth what you are working for.

Even during the hardest time of 2020-2021, the school still tried so hard to keep kids active, fun week after fun week. My son always wants to go to school and have fun. Be honest, we really really appreciate it. Thank you

About the teachers, they are professional, reliable, responsive and absolutely amazing. If you want to find a place you can trust, Find no more.

Our daughter has been at KOC since she was ~6 months old (is now a little over 2 yrs). We couldn't speak more highly of the staff and the center.
All the staff are incredible friendly, and responsive. The educators are so welcoming, and provide exceptional care and learning opportunities. Jenn (the center director) has been incredible helpful and supportive as we navigate lockdowns, time off for my daughter to have an operation (the staff rang during this time to check in on my daughter and say they were missing her), all whilst managing the uncertainty of the changing covid restrictions. Our daughter started at the centre with a special cleft palate bottle and there was no hesitation from the staff to jump in and learn how to use this - everything has been made easy for us as new parents.
We are now moving interstate and are sad to say farewell to the center, and staff, who have contributed so much to our daughter's first few years.

Our son loved Kids on Collins. The staff - both centre management and the educators in the rooms - are lovely, caring and hard working. We felt a part of the community here.

This is the first cc that my daughter attend. Director Jennifer Farrell and all the educators are so kind and professional. We have been pleased with the level of care and appreciate their warm and kindness. My daughter improves a lot and I can see that she learns and develops a lot on all the aspects after she attend the centre. If I ever has another chance or a 2nd baby, I will definitely send my kid to there again.

Kids on Collins has provided a life changing experience for our family, having spent the last seven years here with my two children in kindergarten and child care. Jennifer Farrell and the team have led us through the "how to's" of early childhood caring, education and parenting. As we come to the end of our time with Kids on Collins, I will be forever grateful for the impact that the Centre has had on us and wish Jenn and the team continued success for the future.

My son is always happy on drop off and never wants to leave on pick up.

I have been at kids on Collins for over three years and the way the staff treat every family with respect and positivity is amazing! From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out the staff are always smiling and happy to help.

We have been sending our girl to Kid on Collins since she was a 10 month old baby. We really want to thank you all the staff who supported her to develop self-help skills, provided opportunities in self-expression, motivated her to take risks and encouraged her to build on her literacy and numeracy skills. We have been with the centre for the last 5 years and still continue at kids on Collins for our children and can’t speak more highly of the care and education our children receive.

The educators are so caring of our children and are truely invested in our children’s wellbeing.

Jenn the centre director is wonderful and leads the centre so well. I’m in awe of her ability to know each child, their parents and the latest going on in that family.

Kids on Collins allergy procedures are the best that I have come across. As a parent of a child with anaphylaxis it is very daunting leaving your child in the care of others but Kids on Collins are well educated and very allergy aware that we had no worries dropping him off daily.

I would highly recommend this centre to anyone looking for care in the city.

Have been sending our little boy here for over a year now. Can’t speak highly enough of the educators and the quality of this childcare. My little boy always comes home happy, clean and well fed:) The educators are extremely caring and thoughtful and are worth every cent. Happy with their fees and very content with the high level of service they provide. Would highly recommend this centre to anyone looking for a place that really genuinely cares about looking after your precious little ones.

My son has been at KOC for 18 months now. Its been a great experience. He has made great friends and loves going every day. I know how well looked after he is and would have no hesitation recommending KOC to anyone.

As a regular visitor to Kids on Collins, I always look forward to time spent at this centre.
From the time you arrive you experience how warm and friendly the staff there are, and cannot miss the greeting from their beautiful rabbit Marley who is always on hand to say hello.
It is a beautifully presented facility, that is very secure and well laid out. Happy children make the facility a beautiful place to be, and the aromas of delicious food make this no surprise!
It is wonderful to see the crafty creations of the various age groups and the wide variety of activities on offer to them all. It is no surprise that this is one of Melbourne's best ELC's.
It makes me wish I was a child again!

I do not see the place good, the kids are crowded, the price is very high $160 per day! The director and the ladies at the reception were not nice with me!

What are you writing about me is not true at all, I am here since 2014, and I pay my daughter a fee more than $160 per day, but actually what I want to say to people the provider of the kindergarten does not deserve this prices! Also the number of children in one class! Horrible!
This is just my opinion and my experience because I am a kindergarten teacher as well with a Masters degree! I do not know why you told me that price will rise on January according to the Australian system and this is not true because usual is on July!

All I want to say is that when I met you, I did not find any respect from you maybe because you were racist.
