Lise is an exceptional physio in her wholistic approach to working with women. She goes above and beyond, and will look at your whole picture, history, blood work etc, so that you can get the care and treatment that you need. It's personalised care and she is so genuine and thorough, that you will always walk out feeling hopeful knowing you've spent time with a highly skilled person, who treats you with the kindness of a friend, and who will work with you until you've healed. I highly recommend Lise to all women, and women who are pregnant and post partum in particular.
Thank you Lise, for your exceptional care. I'm forever grateful.

I emailed Lise in desperation on Saturday morning as I was in complete agony after hurting my back. Despite her not working on Saturdays, she went out of her way to see me just half an hour later. She is considerate, kind, thorough and my back feels so much better just one day later. I can't thank her enough.

As a midwife I knew the value of looking for someone who could help me achieve the best outcome for my third pregnancy. Lise’a knowledge and expertise are second to none. I have been to other pelvic floor physiotherapists in the past but Lise provides a wholistic and more thorough approach. I have been beyond thrilled with my care and so have those that I have recommended.

I feel women who experience prolapse deserve to heal in a way that feels empowering and involves more understanding. I started by going to a different physio recommended in my area but $740 later and two failed pessary attempts with a handful of exercises that didn’t seem to incorporate my body I changed to Lise, this beautiful more holistic woman further away, but who is ABSOLUTELY worth the drive. I don’t want to discredit anyone because I know heaps of people have had positive results with simple tools but things that made a difference for me and I think are really important to be considered are things like a proper diagnosis. I since found out my rectum had also started prolapsing as well as my bladder, the reason the pessaries didn’t work is because I have an avulsion which means I need a different shaped one, like a square. Or more intense exercises. I was explained why breath work is so important in collaboration with the exercises which involve the entire body. Your diaphragm sits above all the organs that press down in to your lower pelvic floor. I was previously told this wasn’t relevant. I have now been given really good techniques for lifting and carrying my baby which also considers my posture, and even breastfeeding style. We have gone through my entire history, discussed deeply and openly both births, previous conditions and experiences which affect that space. Lise is so thorough we get right down to the way I stand, my diet, my stools lol. But something else that is really helping me now is the actual internal and external Physiotherapy she is doing not only in that region but also my hips, my spine and shoulders. Consolidated, I feel really confident and supported in my recovery now which is the most important thing. And again, like anything, just choose what resonates with you. Some people might like a less connected approach. Me, I like the entire situation looked at, the WHOLE of me For those reading who are going through this I know how it feels now, but I’m sure you will heal quickly and your journey turns out to be something special. Mine is unraveling a lot along the way, even energetically being the relationship centre of all things. In the meantime I can’t recommend Lise Brown enough, I’m so grateful for her support along the way

Lise is highly recommended. I was under her care for 7 months of my pregnancy with my second child and 8 months post-partum. She is a highly dedicated, diligent and caring practitioner who is thorough in her care and made herself available to me outside the usual 9-5. Most importantly, I learnt so much about myself, my body and health. If you are looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate practitioner - look no further!

I have been seeing Lise for a few months now as I was having extreme trouble with my bladder. I didn't even know someone like Lise existed and I was referred to her by a friend.
Apart from being a lovely person, she is extremely professional, caring and passionate about what she does.
The skills she has taught me to help with my bladder have been a game changer and I now feel confident to continue on my own with confidence and I feel a lot less stressed than I did all those months ago!
I highly recommend Lise to anyone who is in need of any woman related issues.
Thanks for everything you have taught me Lise. I will always be grateful for your help.

Lise has been an amazing support throughout my pregnancy as well as postnatally. She makes you feel comfortable in all situations, and understands a woman’s body like no one else.
From you head to your toes and everything in between (especially pelvic floor and core!), Lise knows what the cause and solution is to fix and strengthen it, so that you can be confident in your own body, especially as you lead up to labour and birth, as well as afterwards.
Her therapies are incredibly effective. You always leave feeling confident that you know what you need to do, and relaxed from her amazing massage techniques.
She is so thorough, flexible and caring, and follows up with emails and texts to check in. You know she really cares about her patients.
Thanks Lise, I’ll be back for baby number 2! Xo

Lise Brown is amazing! I would recommend her services to any person, especially female people. I engaged Lise as a birth attendant in 2017 and during my pregnancy she gave me the most thorough assessment and treatment I have ever received from a health professional. Her physiotherapy is like magic. She really knows bodies at SUCH a deep level. She was the most trusted and valued part of my pregnancy and birth plan.

Both my children's births were via cesarean in the end but only one had Lise at the hospital with me. The improvement mentally and physically on that birth was incredible. I credit Lise with creating the peaceful, nurturing space for my recovery and allowing me to bond with my baby. Lise worked with the hospital midwives to make sure I was comfortable, breastfeeding well and gave massages and treatments to aid healing.

Whether it is for pregnancy related issues or not, I know Lise Brown would be 100% up to date with current research and has what I describe as 'magic hands'. She's also really lovely, caring and organised. Go see her ladies!

I have seen Lise after having both my babies and I could not recommend anyone more! She is very knowledgeable, thorough, passionate and takes a holistic approach to physio.
As a fellow physio I always thought my body awareness was good but Lise has helped correct my technique and I feel stronger than I did pre-babies.
I would recommend anyone who is pregnant, has just had a baby or even has a niggle somewhere in their body to go and see Lise.
Thanks for all your help!

Lise is caring and professional and so much more than a physiotherapist. She listened and planned a course of treatment specific to my needs and always followed through with email contact to check on my progress. She is also a wealth of information in others areas such as nutrition and supplements and such a lovely person. I always felt taken care of in her beautiful relaxed room. She is a credit to her profession and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I presented to Lise for post partum back and core issues, and I could not be more delighted with the outcome. Treatment was holistic, insightful, and skilled. I am now pain-free and have an excellent exercise program to continue with for maintenance.

Lise is caring, professional, gentle and very thorough. I visited her for problems with my hips after giving birth but not only did she help with my hips, she helped with my legs, my core, my posture, even breastfeeding, pelvic floor and the emotional changes that come with becoming a first time mother. I’m very grateful to have found her and highly recommend her services.

Lise is a holistic practitioner. She deeply cares about women’s health and this is evident in her care provision. As a healthcare worker myself I have truly appreciated Lise’s guidance through my pregnancy and post pregnancy recovery. She has taught me a lot about how to care for my body. She is devoted to her patients. If you’re looking for a kind, caring, knowledgeable physiotherapist with exceptional skills then see Lise.
