Thank you to AJ and the team for a wonderful evening. I have had multiple compliments on the service that was provided on our wedding night. Outstanding job.

Came with school for formals, dj denied suggested music and played his own boring playlist, very upset and angry.

Very poor venue, no aircon food service not enough for everyone we pay 150 each with not enough food for everyone.every table sits about 10 people but only serve 1 plate no butter no salads and the drinks are horrible supposed to be unlimited drinks but nothing in there.

Good space with ample parking. Some what aged function facilities. Toilets need to be constantly cleaned when catering to large groups.

Elegant venue set on Toorak Road. Can be tricky to find it as it's in a multistorey building with shops and a pub underneath it. Although on an upper level there are lifts and ramps throughout the building and venue, so great if your elderly or disabled. Parking in the area can be difficult as it's an extremely busy shopping precinct. Make sure you check where you've parked! People on the night I was there got $90 parking fines, a real downer on a night out.
A black baby grand piano takes pride of place in a corner of the Lincolns elegant foyer, which can hold around 100 people before being crowded.
The room itself is large, easily holding over 300 people with a large dance floor and raised stage. The whole venue has an upmarket feel with mirrors, chandeliers and an unusual wall of glass/skylight all along the Toorak Rd side.
Food was delicious, and very attractively plated, upmarket restaurant quality. The staff were helpful and friendly and service was always prompt whenever we asked for something.

Jude, Eden, Ajay and the Lincoln of Toorak crew absolutely nailed our post-wedding / homecoming celebrations. They were so easy to deal with throughout the entire process and catered to our every request. The night itself was amazing, the food outstanding (we had mixed western and table buffet) and all of ours guests were raving about it all. Highly recommend. Thanks guys!

My husband and I got married on the 4th February 2022. We made an enquiry via the website and received a call from Eden. I cannot express enough gratitude to her for everything she did for us on our special day! From the first ever phone call right up to the wedding day, she always ensured every detail was what we wanted and we were happy with it. The team @ Lincoln of Toorak were amazing! I can’t recommend them enough.

Lincoln of Toorak has always been special to me & my husband. We met there back in 2014 for my university Italian ball and seven years later is has been beautifully renovated! I am so grateful for the team and their support during covid uncertain times. Everything turned out amazing including the food! 10/10. Very happy

A huge shoutout to Jude and Team for my wedding reception on the 19th of December 2021. After we had a tragic last minute change of our reception a week prior to our big day, The venue owner, Jude, showed us immense compassion and empathy. He reassured us as we were incredibly stressed with the last minute change. All things considered, Jude went above and beyond for us and our reception held at the venue was much better than we had anticipated. I cannot thank Jude enough for making this momentous day that much more special and for easing our concerns. The Lincoln of Toorak receives my highest praise!

Great venue place, welcoming staff and great food.and all round beautifull venue to have an event.

Excellent venue, every effort was made to make sure our Marlins Awards night is a successful event.

Live entertainment was just superb, amazing how the venue made the crowd at ease and the food from bubbly & appetisers, set-in dinner to chocolate fountain that comforts the sole with a few lovely different sherbies spunn about on the dance floor. Great night

The owners are unprofessional, they belittle experienced event planners and treat their customers with disrespect. Don’t do business with these people if you want to host a successful event.

Nice venue shocking terrible service. Bartenders take 5 min to make a drink, waiters seem like they just started their first job

Absolutely mortified with how this business has treated my new wife and I. We had organised our wedding to take place in early April with our deposit paid, and an additional sum toward the total payment also provided. With the implementation of social distancing restrictions by the Victorian government, our event was cancelled. The Grand Receptions however has not provided any form of refund at all, and in fact had the audacity to request further funds for their operations. It has been 2 months since the original date of our event and we have not received any refund (deposit or outstanding sum) and have not had any correspondence from The Grand Receptions since March. I am not an interest-free loan service which this company can exploit for their gain, and neither should anyone else be. Would strongly recommend you take your business elsewhere to a business which is honest in their dealings.

Terrible service with unfair terms, cancelled events due to govt restrictions, they cancelled our function and refused to refund deposits unless we reschedule with them, this invalidates contracts and they legally are not allowed to keep any money when they don't provide any service. They refuse to refund all other monies for the foreseeable future, don't bother booking here and supporting this business if you value your money. They use their customers as a loan providing service, earn interest on customer money and do not return it for as long as they want despite getting govt support.
