Lime Leaf Thai Restaurant - Ferntree Gully reviews
40Found large chunks of egg shell in food. Also got 2 of the prawn pad see ew dishes. Got 6 prawns in one of them and two in the other. Food was not very tasty, dry and over priced for how much you get.
Ordered: 1) Pad Thai 2) Veg green curry 3) Calamari salad
1) Pad Thai was very bland and soggy
2) Green curry, no baby corn, no baby eggplants, very roughly chopped beans. Pumpkin had a mouldy aftertaste. Very very poor.
3) Calamari salad was acceptable
Will not recommend, will not return.
This restaurant is a great place to eat. It is low cost with amazing food. The staff are so lovely. The only issue is the toilets have a hole in the wall. It's not major but yeah.
Long waiting time - for both eat-in or takeaway customers. We dined in and waited for 30 mins after placing the order, it turned out the foods were average and we don’t think they were worth the price. I’m sorry but we won’t be back again.
Got some take away, the Tom Yum soup was lacking in flavour, the mushrooms very plain & the prawns were super overcooked & dry. The Penang Chicken was nice.
First time visitors of the Lime Leaf restaurant. Very hospitable host and made us feel very welcome.
Food and flavours were in keeping of Thai cuisine and will recommend to family and friends,
Lovely fairly local Thai, been eating here on and off for over 10 years through ownership changes food consistently good quality, service good, no parking worries
The most amazing Thai food I've ever tasted and I've travelled far! Internationally too! Never tasted food this good! Keep it up guys! Ordered a few times in a couple of weeks and will continue to!
It’s always yummy! Fairly priced and the staff are always kind. I’ve Been coming here for years and even though I don’t live in the area anymore, I always find myself coming back here:)
Celebrated a birthday dinner here with family and have been regular customers for years! Food is consistently delicious and service is always amazing. Everyone who works there is so friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend!
The best of the best authentic Thai dishes in Melbourne. Fantastic place to go out for dinner or when we crave Thai food. Amazing Pad Thai in a generous size and unbeatable chicken stay sauce make it the hero. The services are supreme, friendly staff especially ' Kun Paa'. You will never regret visiting this venue. Worth every cent spent indeed!
Ordered takeaway last week, disappointed with the portion, it’s tiny. Taste wise is average, will not return.
These guys have the best food! And super friendly. Highly recommend the yellow curry + pad thai!
Extremely disappointing. We have slways found this restaursnt fabulous however last time we were there it was disappointing. The scallop and prawn special was served with split sauce and the beef stir fry- well the beef was so tough that it was hard to eat.
Superb Thai food which has such flavour and the option of mild, hot and extra hot which makes it perfect for everyone in the family, fresh fast and delivered hot. Very impressed will be our go to Thai.
Since the first time we came here the service from Pha, the waitress, has been second to none. She remembered our names when we returned and the table service was excellent every time. The food was great tasting and flavorsome. We have tried many dishes and have never been disappointed. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. It's the best Thai restaurant in Melbourne that we have eaten at. I would highly recommend this to anyone and have brought friends here.
The Thai yum soup seemed tasteless and lakes zest and micro waved boiled, and the roti was rubbery and as for the green curry not sure but it tasted like it was out of a Marion packet, very disappointing, the staff were great bubbly and very pleasant.
Food was great, as was the service. Staff are friendly, the food tastes fresh. A little hidden away, but worth finding.
Always great and priced well!
Thai Stir Fried Chicken with Cashew Nuts or Gai Pad Med Ma Muang is a simple stir fry dish, made from easy to find ingredients. It is similar to Chinese Kung Pao Chicken with cashew nuts being substitute for nuts.
