Lilydale Memorial Park reviews
33 Visited the grave site of my parents 18th April to find trust working on upgrading lawn compliments to their sincere caring especially to the young man for his compassion he
showed allowing time for myself Thankyou
Telephoned recently about a pre-purchased plot. Not the friendliest "face" of the cemetery that I hoped to find on the other end of the line. So different to former staff members. HR needs to be far more selective.
Peaceful surroundings and beautifully maintained grounds. Staff are helpful, patient and very considerate.
Visited the crematorium only once, Good facilities including a reception hall.and the caterers were very good the day I was a there. Getting to it is not very convenient, as the roads are narrow and a bit windy in the Yarra valley, Scenic though to get there.
The faded old toys and dead flowers in the rose garden make it all a bit sad, but the staff are great
Beautiful memorial park. It is so green, lined with rose bushes and trees, and it is peaceful. It doesn't have that bleak feeling that cemeteries tend to have so it's a pleasant place to visit your loved ones who have since departed. There is a section for burials and a section for those who have been cremated. There are facilities for funerals and wakes, and catering can be arranged.
I was there for a funeral.so you know.not a fun time. Although total professionalism shown by the staff. Good facilities and the refreshments afterwards were superb.
Not a fan of attending Cemetaries. Staff were friendly, courteous & made you feel comfortable whilst making enquiries. Situation a tad confronting but staff put you at ease. The gardens are very well kept, there is a chapel if you require it plus a reception room.
Area along fence line of cremated remains is a disgrace and needs some immediate attention. Balance of park seems to be well maintained.
Covid 19 funeral for my father Roy James Mitchell. Very humble with only 10 guests allowed. Funeral director and staff all very sincere and polite people. Very caring during these times.
It's a nice place. I couldn't remember where exactly my friend's grave was, so I called the 1300 number and they were very helpful. They even sent me a map.
Nice for an old Cemetary, needs more maintenance, plastic flowers Let it Down, More General Cleaning wldnt Hurt.
A beautiful setting for a final resting place. A lovely service, and comfortable chapel. With a lot of aged people in attendance, access and comfort are well consider. Grounds and facilities immaculate.
Very peaceful area and unlike most cemeteries a pleasant place to visit.lots of parking. Grounds very well looked after. Chapel has nice ambiance that I felt calm and was able to get through a very difficult day.
A beautiful and peaceful resting place for my beloved Mum and Dad. I find it very comforting to visit the grave weekly and meet other fellow mourners going through the same grieving process.
It's a beautiful well kept Memorial Park but so so sad going there, makes me miss my Mum and Dad even more if that is at all possible
We put our dad in his final resting place here.
Staff here have been extreamly helpful and pleasant to deal with.
Beautiful and well maintained grounds throughout.
Lovely grounds, atmosphere and service venues all conveniently located in the dead center of lilydale.
Very pretty, quiet place. Loved the gardens and all the roses. Visited my grandad's ashes. Very well kept grounds.
