Lilydale Lake Playground reviews
70Not to be confused with Lysterfield Lake, which is a 40 minute drive away and there probably wont be any birthday cake left if you go there by mistake because you dont know the difference between a 'FIELD' and a 'DALE'. Or a between a Lyster and a Lily.
Great place for a walk around this lake with the kids and if have a pet dog.beside this the playground is a nice place and plenty of places to have a picnic or even seat for a nice time with family or just friends to or maybe the love of your life.whatever the reason nice lake and area to relax
Beautiful lake and very busy on a Sunday afternoon.
Playground for the kids, BBQ areas, green grass, lots of shady place but there could be a few more benches or gazebos.
This is an amazing park, although it does get busy. There is a waterpark for hot days, and plenty of equipment for climbing, swinging and flying foxing to be done!
Picturesque views of parks and trails around the lake, with ducks and birds. Its really lovely. There is a dog section with jumps and fun patches for them to play. Lots of car parking great for a dusk walk.
Lovely place for a barby and a walk, could be cleaner, shame about the brain dead drongos that think the ground or lake is the place for rubbish, not the bin, 50meters on.
Great place to walk the dog, have a picnic or BBQ. Has all amenities and a wading pool with water jets for the little kids
A struggle to find shade but the kids love it. I would suggest a bright hat for your child so that they are easily spotted in the crowd.
Very lovely great for kids & adults can walk around the lake, kids can swim in the water, beautiful bird life around the lake, there are parks in different spots.would be good if they put more barbecues there as we could only find 3, & if it’s busy you need to wait to use barbecue.
It is a good place for a quick walk, run or for meditation. The lake has a jogging track around it and also kids play area and Picnic benches. Would definitely recommend on a bright day.
Beautiful place. Great walking tracks. Little water park and playground for the kids. BBQ facilities. Off lead dog park down the opposite end of the lake. Food truck, gelati van and coffee van in the carpark when I was there on Saturday!
My kids loved the water feature here, spent ages playing in the water. Massive playground and lots of kids and families just really enjoying the day. Highly recommend.
Great park. Lakes.
A couple of playgrounds. Drinking wates stations.
Plenty of space for a good walk.
Leashes off area for doggies.
Very good place for family. The kids enjoyed the playground. In general, the playground is clean and organised. Many activities available in the place.
Great place but very dangerous for pedestrians to get to trying to cross at Alfred Rd roundabout. Traffic just won't stop for pedestrians crossing. Something needs to be done
A beautiful park, our favourite place for weekend. Love the walking track and playground and fishing
Some parts aren't paved (close to the lake) but there is a massive water play area which is wonderful for a hot day.
Awesome place for the kids if only just seen all the new equipment and water play ground area and it's come along way from what it used to be when I was a kid.
Looks like spot of fun
What agreat place for a picnic with the family. Shame about the crowds though. It was very busy last Sunday when we went there. Council have done a wonderful job, but a few more shady areas or shelters would be good. Water fountain for the children was a nice thought. Congratulations!
