Lilian Fashion Alterations

It was okay, not really what I was expecting based on other reviews.

I had one bridesmaid's dress altered here but the other two I took to another Tailor which was both more cost effective and a better overall experience.

The one dress I had altered by Lilian was still beautifully done.

Lilian did an amazing job altering my suit pants for a wedding. She is very experienced and skilful, while keeping the price super affordable.
Being a picky person, I am very satisfied with her work. She meticulously went through the fitting with me until I’m happy. The waist band was snug, and the hem was hand stitched, which means the strings will not come undone with a single tear. Like a magician, she turned the out of fashion, ill-fitting pants into slim and stylish pants that fitted me perfectly, effectively giving them a second life. Money well spent, thank you so much!

Lilian is a perfectionist and has a very high standard for herself, she is so skillful and honest, she explained to me the method I suggested doesn’t work, and she provided her professional skill sets to alter my dress. She altered my dress (shorten and resizing) and made it fits perfectly on me. She pays attention to details and also reminded me what to do when I wear my dress to make it stay perfectly on my body. Definitely highly recommended! Her advice is priceless!

Auntie is super kind and nice! She did my wedding dress 5 years ago and that’s how I started knowing her. She has amazing skills and charged on a very reasonable price! Since then I have been taking all my dresses, shirts to auntie for alterations. I highly recommend auntie to everyone! She has amazing skills!

Lilian is very honest and to the point, her alteration skills are amazing. I got a wedding suit altered and it fits great. Reasonably priced (not cheap but not expensive). The service is at her house garage which she books time slots so you have private service rather than a busy shop. Will definitely go back to Lilian for future alterations

I went to Lilian’s to have some suit pants altered for a funeral. She refused to alter it according to my request and instead produced pants that I wasn’t happy with. When picking up the pants, I expressed I wasn’t happy with the length and she had told me that I had to pay extra to have it fixed. For the price paid going to Lilian’s isn’t worth it.

Lillian sets the standard for alterations, and it's a high bar! The price is good and the advice is even better. She will always tell you if the alteration will ruin the garment, and she always alters everything perfectly. You must go here!

I’m so surprised I had such an awful experience here, given that all the other reviews were so great (that’s why I chose to come here!)
As soon as I tried on the dress I wanted altered, Lilian started poking around my middle telling me that I’m too soft and that I should be exercising everyday before the wedding.
I came to get a dress altered - not to be body shamed.
I absolutely would not recommend this tailor and will be finding someone else who can help me with more professionalism (and respect? !)

Lilian was amazing, she converted a size 12 wedding dress to a size 8.my dress was very complicated with a bone bodice andclong lace train but she made my dress to perfection, analysing every part carefully to suit my body shape She takes great pride in her work and her skills are amazing.
